Incredible experience! Beautiful room, nice pool, sea view, close to the beach, walking distance to the port, shops and restaurants. The staff and breakfast crew were amazing, especially Maria! She was so sweet and kind and we really enjoyed talking to her every morning with our awesome breakfast! Highly recommend!

    Rastoni is like a piece of heaven on earth! From the garden full of lemon trees and greenery and birds chirping to the relaxing atmosphere that the hosts were creating, plus their lovely and warm personalities, everything was perfect! The room was so beautiful with super comfortable beds, clean and amazing views of the sea. Special thanks to Nektaria who made us feel like home, always smiling and ready to help us with anything we needed! She even prepared a special meal for my breakfast as I was having a different diet those days. Thank you again Nektaria, you are such a blessing and a wonderful person!

    This is a family business hotel and this was the second time when we accommodate there. The owners are very nice persons and very helpful, the breakfast is very good with a lot of varieties you can try, including greek specialities like greek yogurt and feta pie. The furniture from the room is a little bit outdated but this is not a problem because it is very clean, (the room were cleaned every day), the room is spacious, the bed is very big and comfortable and you have a balcony. It is near the center and close to the beach.

    Sandy Beach Hotel has a new owner this year, Costa. He's very friendly, extremely accomodating- a great host! And the town is very close to the ancient, pre-Parthenon Temple of Aphaia, definitely a sight worth seeing. Admission is 10 Eu. It's a 10 Eu. cab ride each way, or a 2 Eu. 15 minute bus ride each way. It's also close to the monastery of Agios Nektarios. There are numerous good, reasonably priced restaurants in Agia Marina, all near the beach and all within a few blocks of each other.

    This place was wonderful and completely exceeded my expectations. It is a little ways away from Aegina Town and is meant for those who want a quieter getaway. Literally steps away from the beach. You have your own apartment for all your needs as well as a warm and helpful reception and restaurant downstairs. Vera was an absolute gem and provided me with so many suggestions and recommendations for my stay. I really enjoyed it here and will be telling friends.

    The location is on the hill so the view is absolutely amazing! It calm and clean. The pool is big and clean. Feels like private one. The breakfast tasty and changing everyday.     A perfect little place for a relaxing beach holiday. Easy to get there with a ferry from Athens in 30 minutes. The little port is close to everything. There are different types of beaches to choose from. Our favourite restaurant was Kaliva. Service might be a little imperfect due to the young staff, but they are very kind and the food is wonderful fir a good price.

    Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

    The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. The taxi will cost more to come there to take you to town, so instead of 18 euros you will pay 25.

    Public transport on the island is not great so personal transport is required. You can see all you need to in 24-48 hours. I’m glad I visited but I didn’t find anything to make me want to return. My travel companion is vegan and it was very difficult to find vegan options on menus, and none that contained vegan protein in the many restaurants in Aegina or Perdika which we also visited.

    A colorful and vibrant island, with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Like everywhere in Greece, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When booking the ferry, pay attention—there are two ports on the island: one is the main port, and the other is secondary. The main port brings you closer to the livelier, more touristy area. In any case, even if you arrive at the other port by mistake, you can easily take a taxi or a bus to the other side of the island.

    In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part. Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach). Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep. Probably some more dinning options (other than Perdika fishing port) would be good, but Aegina city center is really close, not more than 15 mins drive.
