What a great place! We loved it!! Perfect walking distance to the beach front. The hotel was very clean and priced very reasonable. The owner/operators were the sweetest little family! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great vacation. Cant wait to go back again!!

The hotel was nicely situated by a number of lovely restaurants and bars and is only a five minute walk to the beach. The rooms were very clean and roomy and the pool was lovely. The staff were very friendly and made our staff very enjoyable. Special thanks to Costas and Maria for being such gracious hosts! We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay in Isidora Hotel was amazing! Everything was absolutely incredible. The staff was so kind and offered us great hospitality, gave us everything we needed.     Everything! The location was perfect-just steps away from the bustling restaurants market area and a short walk to the ferry and bus station (5 minutes for both!) The breakfast was good and the garden was amazing with a fully laden lime tree! The room was so sweet and the bathroom must have been recently remodeled. Water was hot and plentiful. My bed was so comfortable and I had a balcony where I could see the sea from the corner! A big window allowed the sea breeze in. Also had a little fridge! The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and gave me the best restaurants to eat at and places to visit by bus. After 3 days I felt like I had new family members. I was a little teary eyed to leave, and I travel a lot. I want to bring my friends and family back to this place soon. So soothing and tranquil!

    Incredible experience! Beautiful room, nice pool, sea view, close to the beach, walking distance to the port, shops and restaurants. The staff and breakfast crew were amazing, especially Maria!     The property was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I will say it’s a bit far out from downtown but you can take a taxi or rent a vehicle. It is close to a stretch of restaurants. The pool area was also really nice and I liked the spread they had for breakfast. Really relaxing place.

    A perfect little place for a relaxing beach holiday. Easy to get there with a ferry from Athens in 30 minutes. The little port is close to everything. There are different types of beaches to choose from. Our favourite restaurant was Kaliva. Service might be a little imperfect due to the young staff, but they are very kind and the food is wonderful fir a good price.

    So much delicious food to choose from and lovely quiet port. Great spot if you want to relax. Everything is in walking distance and best spot for taxis around the island as well as boats for trips to nearby islands.

    Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

    The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. The taxi will cost more to come there to take you to town, so instead of 18 euros you will pay 25.

    Public transport on the island is not great so personal transport is required. You can see all you need to in 24-48 hours. I’m glad I visited but I didn’t find anything to make me want to return. My travel companion is vegan and it was very difficult to find vegan options on menus, and none that contained vegan protein in the many restaurants in Aegina or Perdika which we also visited.

    A colorful and vibrant island, with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Like everywhere in Greece, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When booking the ferry, pay attention—there are two ports on the island: one is the main port, and the other is secondary. The main port brings you closer to the livelier, more touristy area. In any case, even if you arrive at the other port by mistake, you can easily take a taxi or a bus to the other side of the island.

    In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part. Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach). Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep. Probably some more dinning options (other than Perdika fishing port) would be good, but Aegina city center is really close, not more than 15 mins drive.
