The staff set this hotel aside. Part of the reason we always return to the Greek Islands is the hospitality but the staff at Vigla have taken that to the next level. Nothing was ever a problem, everything was done with the utmost professionalism all while maintaining a friendly, family feeling. I would recommend this place to anyone and guarantee it will make your holiday better. Huge thanks to all the staff looking after us. That includes picking us up at the Aegali port , looking after us at breakfast each morning, booking us a hire car at very short notice, right to our 5am transfer to Katapola for the early ferry. (We were even given a take-away breakfast the night before to keep us going.) I can't fault any part of our stay. The food is great, the bar is great, the hotel should be on your list!

The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor. The entrance to the hotel is quite pleasant, and the presence of books is a significant plus. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was in constant communication with us regarding our potential needs. Dimitra welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived and handed us our room. The room was spacious, airy, and clean. Having a mosquito net on the balcony was a great advantage. We rented a car through their family business, Evdokia, and received detailed and practical information about getting to the harbor, traffic, and more. (Thanks again, Fani :) ) The restaurant below the hotel looked very inviting. Fani and Marios extended an invitation to their table, and we thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful company. I would like to express my gratitude once again.

Owner Antreas is warm and friendly, with a feeling of coming home. The environment is spacious and the scenery is beautiful, the facilities are all available, and there is welcome drink! Antreas also introduced some local restaurants and scenic spots. In the form of buffet for breakfast, there are many local Amorgos foods, as well as traditional desserts made by Antreas. You can experience the local customs of Amorgos. If there is a chance to return here, it is a must-have choice.

We liked everything about this place, including the stairs we had to climb ! The view was wonderful, the rooms cleaned every day and every day there was homemade cake left for us in the room, very much appreciated . Wonderful staff !
