- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 547 reviewsNicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Incredible and vast property, 4 restaurants, a swim-in movie theatre that’s out of a movie itself, luxury shuttles to town, a spa with a stream room, sauna and cold water pool, and all the little things done right. Live music every night, random treats at the pool, and attention to detail at every step.Guest review byAaronIsrael

My evaluation is strongly influenced by the period when we visited the island – August. Therefore, I do not recommend visiting the island in August, as it is extremely overcrowded. Also, the steep streets and narrow access alleys become even more difficult to navigate during this time of year, and you will need to fully rely on your driving skills, often pushing your car to its limits. We missed some of the island’s attractions because of these inconveniences. That being said, the island has many beautiful places to see and experience – beaches, breathtaking views, tavernas, welcoming people, and much more. I recommend visiting the island in September, ideally for 5–10 days, and exploring the most popular places early in the morning. This way, you will get the best of what the island has to offer.Guest review bySebastianRomania - 8.0

Kavos was great fun with lots of bars and a nice compact strip. Lots of excursion options (I recommend the day trip to Corfu old town) and a beach just next to the strip. Only thing that let it down was it was not very busy at all end of august so a lot of the bars were quite empty and prompted reps to almost harass you into the bars. Lots of great places to eat but absolutely ginormous portions which I found a bit overwhelming at times. Drinks aren’t the nicest but with how cheap they are you can hardly complain.Guest review byPoppyNetherlands - 10.0

It is a very touristy area, not my ideal, but many beaches within a close distance, swimming, beach bars, restaurants, opportunities to rent boats or a tour (Recommended! I booked with Paleotours.) I always found a spot at the beaches, especially early in the day or evening. Everything you need is there and it is stunning.Guest review byTanyaUnited States - 6.0

Do not book this apartment if you are elderly or have a heart condition. Ok if you are young and healthy. To be honest a quiet location until the hotels opposite gets going. The beach is sand but stones going into the sea, you need beach shoes to access. The pool bar was excellent and a god send - Irene Well Being and Gregory was a fantastic host as well as Irene.Guest review byGeorgeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Well i had not been to Benitses for over 42 years ,and it was a bit of a shock ! The town looks run down and the beaches are not very good ,too much traffic drives by to get any peace on the beach . The roads are dangerous and busy ,lack of pavements .The old town is better with nice places to eat and drink ,night time is best The restaurant called the Olive was lovely ,the ambiance was relaxing and the food was delicious. There is a good bus service if you want to get about, you can buy bus tickets from some shops .it make it a lot easier. The town just needs a good over hall and money investments ,but that's a government thing !Guest review bykathleenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We have been coming to sidari for 7 years.
We have been coming to sidari for 7 years. There's something for everyone, whether you want quiet restaurants, traditional greek cuisine/tavernas or modern amercian, mexican, indian, chinese dishes. There is entertainment on the main strip every night from quizes, bingo, karoke to tribute acts, live bands, football and rugby matches televised. All family friendly. There's also plenty to do, the beach is lovely, there are pedaloes, quad bikes, paragliding, snorkelling, boat trips etc. The biggest thing that draws us back are the people. They are so friendly and welcoming andGuest review byJonesUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.Guest review byVeronicaUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Ypsos is not very nice in itself.
Ypsos is not very nice in itself. The beach is super small and directly next to a busy road with fast driving cars. Crossing it can be dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it, given the large amount of other beautiful beaches the island has.Guest review byCarloSpain - 10.0
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food!
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food! Our favourite was a beachfront restaurant called Eretrico. Dolce Freddo is a gelato place that does wonderful fresh waffles and amazing ice cream. There are a good few supermarkets with prices much lower that what we have here in Ireland. There are also plenty of giftshops selling typical souvenirs as well as locally made products such as olive wood products and jewellery. The town area is mostly flat, so it is easy to walk but some of the paving stones are uneven and could present a tripping hazard. There are a few bus stops with buses connecting to Corfu Town and a few other towns. There are a lot of cars, motorbikes, quad bikes and bicycles available to hire. I would recommend using the bus to get to and from Corfu Town and consider hiring a car for exploring the local area as there are many beautiful beaches you can only reach by car. Locally, you can hire paddle boards, rent sun loungers and umbrellas at reasonable prices and arrange tours through a travel agent. It is possible to do things like boat trips, a day trip to Albania and go horse riding. Honestly, we ran out of time before we could do all the things that we wanted to do!Guest review byMichaelaIreland - 8.0
A beautiful area with plenty of restaurants and cafés.
A beautiful area with plenty of restaurants and cafés. Dassia Beach is excellent, with clear waters, though less photogenic than the beaches often shown in promotional photos. There are many great beaches within a 25–45 minute drive. Note that most of the famous beaches require a car, and during the season it’s best to arrive early due to limited parking. The town is about 25 minutes from DASSIA (recommended to park near the port, where there are several large parking lots) – from there it’s just a short walk to the Old Town.Guest review byshukiRomania
