The old town is fascinating, picture postcard views. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy access to ferries to take you to other Greek islands or Albania. The locals are really friendly and welcoming.Guest review byGary WaldramUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Paleokastritsa comprises a number of mid to small sized "beaches" though some are no more than a few rocks or pebbles. The water, as with the rest of the island, is crystal clear and deliciously warm, ideal for snorkeling or diving. There are plenty of activities on offer though I prefer to walk about and particularly enjoyed the walk up to the Corfu Donkey Sanctuary.Guest review byrbUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Excellent resort, lovely beach with free sun-beds and umbrellas if you buy a drink, fantastic restaurants on beach front, best to get accommodation near to beach as very steep hills away from main resortGuest review byalexUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lots of bars, restaurants (recommend The Hive) and souvenir shops as you would expect along a 'strip' but there are quieter places alongside the beach. Plenty to see in and around the local area such as Cape Drastis, the Canal D'Amour and Porto Timoni. If travelling the north coast to Sidari, watch out for mobile signal as it dips in and out of Albania's signal and you could face unexpected roaming charges. Mosquitos and wasps are everywhere so bring your repellent.Guest review byMarc H.United Kingdom - 10.0

During the 80s when I worked there, it had a bit of a reputation as a Party Place, but totally different now, and quite sophisticated in the centre, with great restaurants and shops. The beaches are very fine shingle. There is a lot of traffic going through so care needed when not on a pavement. The southern end still looks a bit run down, but it seems they are gradually moving the quality that way. The old village is gorgeous and full of character.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very central to visit Corfu town by bus €1.60 e.w. for a day trip, gouvia is lovely, gr8 restaurants, fresh food & the beach was lovely, every restaurant we ate in was delish, especially the chinese restaurant, ooh and the bar with the Elvis tribute was brilliant and reasonably priced for drinks too. And I even got a great haircut at the local hair dressers, they were so friendly, we had a great relaxing holiday in Gouvia.Guest review bylisaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kavos is usually packed with younger tourists who prefer the busy street and bars and Disco and very vibrant night life - all are in the main street in Kavos. The Kristiana hotel is just 100m away from the busy main street, yet you feel as if you are in a private resort with lovely people and very well maintained hotel roomsGuest review byHanochheIsrael - 10.0
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu.
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu. It is close to the main attractions of the island. One downside are the beaches that are just with pebbles and have very thin shore. I would not recommend this location if you want to stay here just for the beach, but if you have a car and you can go to other beaches then it's a great location.Guest review byAncaRomania - 10.0
Acharavi was a good town with lots of shops, restaurants and...
Acharavi was a good town with lots of shops, restaurants and 3 supermarkets. The beach wasn't the best one as it has quite a lot of stones but its a short drive to really good sandy beaches at Roda and Agios Spiridonas. We enjoyed meals at Odysseus and Maestro - where they have a 'Greek Night' of music and dancing on a Tuesday evening, but book ahead. Also near Agios Spiridonas there is 'North Corfu Horses' where there are different options for horse rides. Our adult daughter did a 'swimming with horses' which she really enjoyed.Guest review byRobinUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Ypsos is not very nice in itself.
Ypsos is not very nice in itself. The beach is super small and directly next to a busy road with fast driving cars. Crossing it can be dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it, given the large amount of other beautiful beaches the island has.Guest review byCarloSpain
