Absolutely loved it, it was so pretty!
Absolutely loved it, it was so pretty! Lots of shops and beautiful restaurants. We went on a great walking tour with Corfu Perspectives Guided Tours which I highly recommend. The people are so friendly too. Enjoyed the Corfu specialities, Kumquat ice cream was a stand out!Guest review byEmmaAustralia - 8.0

Paleokastritsa comprises a number of mid to small sized "beaches" though some are no more than a few rocks or pebbles. The water, as with the rest of the island, is crystal clear and deliciously warm, ideal for snorkeling or diving. There are plenty of activities on offer though I prefer to walk about and particularly enjoyed the walk up to the Corfu Donkey Sanctuary.Guest review byrbUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Excellent resort, lovely beach with free sun-beds and umbrellas if you buy a drink, fantastic restaurants on beach front, best to get accommodation near to beach as very steep hills away from main resortGuest review byalexUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Small, place with plenty of restaurants and shops.
Small, place with plenty of restaurants and shops. Restaurants generally offer good value for money, with wide variety of dishes to satisfy everybody's taste. The beaches are nice and clean. The place does not offer rich night life for young people who want to go clubbing.Guest review bySlavicaSerbia - 8.0

Lots of bars, restaurants (recommend The Hive) and souvenir shops as you would expect along a 'strip' but there are quieter places alongside the beach. Plenty to see in and around the local area such as Cape Drastis, the Canal D'Amour and Porto Timoni. If travelling the north coast to Sidari, watch out for mobile signal as it dips in and out of Albania's signal and you could face unexpected roaming charges. Mosquitos and wasps are everywhere so bring your repellent.Guest review byMarc H.United Kingdom - 8.0

I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.Guest review byVeronicaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kavos is usually packed with younger tourists who prefer the busy street and bars and Disco and very vibrant night life - all are in the main street in Kavos. The Kristiana hotel is just 100m away from the busy main street, yet you feel as if you are in a private resort with lovely people and very well maintained hotel roomsGuest review byHanochheIsrael - 10.0
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu.
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu. It is close to the main attractions of the island. One downside are the beaches that are just with pebbles and have very thin shore. I would not recommend this location if you want to stay here just for the beach, but if you have a car and you can go to other beaches then it's a great location.Guest review byAncaRomania - 10.0
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food!
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food! Our favourite was a beachfront restaurant called Eretrico. Dolce Freddo is a gelato place that does wonderful fresh waffles and amazing ice cream. There are a good few supermarkets with prices much lower that what we have here in Ireland. There are also plenty of giftshops selling typical souvenirs as well as locally made products such as olive wood products and jewellery. The town area is mostly flat, so it is easy to walk but some of the paving stones are uneven and could present a tripping hazard. There are a few bus stops with buses connecting to Corfu Town and a few other towns. There are a lot of cars, motorbikes, quad bikes and bicycles available to hire. I would recommend using the bus to get to and from Corfu Town and consider hiring a car for exploring the local area as there are many beautiful beaches you can only reach by car. Locally, you can hire paddle boards, rent sun loungers and umbrellas at reasonable prices and arrange tours through a travel agent. It is possible to do things like boat trips, a day trip to Albania and go horse riding. Honestly, we ran out of time before we could do all the things that we wanted to do!Guest review byMichaelaIreland - 10.0

It’s just outside the town and it’s great if you don’t want the business of the crowded city but still want to be at a location that offers you the ability to travel to all parts of the island. Also, Perama gives you access to the airplanes spotting walking bridge from which you can take AMAZING pictures of the airplanes departing and arriving.Guest review byAnonymous
