Corfu Town has bags of character and plenty to keep you occupied. Exploring the rambling streets of its (UNESCO-recognised) Old Town was a delight and it boasts two impressive Venetian Forts. There is also an abundance of nice places to eat and/or enjoy a drink. For those wishing to explore the island and/or take a day trip to Albania, it constitutes the centre of the transport hub.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Came for a family wedding so only a short stay for us with limited time to explore. Especially enjoyed its peaceful and picturesque location. The beaches were only small therefore could get a little overcrowded. I also felt they could have been cleaned better ie cigarette stubs in the sand. At times some of the paving steps could do with maintaining better. Some lovely restaurants serving simple Greek food cooked well. Difficult at times walking on the main road leading in and out of-the town due to not always having proper pavements, street lighting was also poor in parts.Guest review bySara taylorUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Agios Gordios delivers the best that Greece has to offer.
Agios Gordios delivers the best that Greece has to offer. Stunning sunsets, beautiful beach, clear azure water, a range of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from and the friendliest people you could ever wish to meet. Eat at Pearl, Black Rocks or Thalassa and breakfast and drinks at Ark to experience warm welcomes and lovely food.Guest review bymcgrathUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Well i had not been to Benitses for over 42 years ,and it was a bit of a shock ! The town looks run down and the beaches are not very good ,too much traffic drives by to get any peace on the beach . The roads are dangerous and busy ,lack of pavements .The old town is better with nice places to eat and drink ,night time is best The restaurant called the Olive was lovely ,the ambiance was relaxing and the food was delicious. There is a good bus service if you want to get about, you can buy bus tickets from some shops .it make it a lot easier. The town just needs a good over hall and money investments ,but that's a government thing !Guest review bykathleenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kavos is usually packed with younger tourists who prefer the busy street and bars and Disco and very vibrant night life - all are in the main street in Kavos. The Kristiana hotel is just 100m away from the busy main street, yet you feel as if you are in a private resort with lovely people and very well maintained hotel roomsGuest review byHanochheIsrael - 8.0
There is something for everyone, adults & children.
There is something for everyone, adults & children. I used to jump the local Green bus to Roda & Cassiopi, between 5/8 euros return. You can also use the blue bus into Corfu Town if you fancy large scale shopping, sitting at the port bistro and people watching, walking up to the castle..... being adventurous as you like. GO... and enjoy :DGuest review byDENISEUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.Guest review byVeronicaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu.
Dassia is a great location to spend time in Corfu. It is close to the main attractions of the island. One downside are the beaches that are just with pebbles and have very thin shore. I would not recommend this location if you want to stay here just for the beach, but if you have a car and you can go to other beaches then it's a great location.Guest review byAncaRomania - 4.0
Ypsos is not very nice in itself.
Ypsos is not very nice in itself. The beach is super small and directly next to a busy road with fast driving cars. Crossing it can be dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it, given the large amount of other beautiful beaches the island has.Guest review byCarloSpain - 10.0
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food!
There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food! Our favourite was a beachfront restaurant called Eretrico. Dolce Freddo is a gelato place that does wonderful fresh waffles and amazing ice cream. There are a good few supermarkets with prices much lower that what we have here in Ireland. There are also plenty of giftshops selling typical souvenirs as well as locally made products such as olive wood products and jewellery. The town area is mostly flat, so it is easy to walk but some of the paving stones are uneven and could present a tripping hazard. There are a few bus stops with buses connecting to Corfu Town and a few other towns. There are a lot of cars, motorbikes, quad bikes and bicycles available to hire. I would recommend using the bus to get to and from Corfu Town and consider hiring a car for exploring the local area as there are many beautiful beaches you can only reach by car. Locally, you can hire paddle boards, rent sun loungers and umbrellas at reasonable prices and arrange tours through a travel agent. It is possible to do things like boat trips, a day trip to Albania and go horse riding. Honestly, we ran out of time before we could do all the things that we wanted to do!Guest review byMichaelaIreland
