We booked it for Valentine's Day and they had a special drink and chocolates with a rose waiting for us which was a lovely gesture! Located on the beachfront, this property has a garden. The property offers allergy-free units and is set 47 km from Nikos Kazantzakis Museum. Fantastic view, very quiet, the room was spatious, clean with all necessary equipment, the terrace was amazing and the hottub very nice to relax. the distance from the beach was 5 min. The village is super nice, not very touristic, with very nice taverns and cafes. We had very good contact with the person that was responsible for the rooms, and he immediately responded to all our questions before and during the stay.

Upon arrival, Sophia treated us to some homemade lemonade, then George helped grab our bags and showed us to our beautiful villa; Large and comfortable with a great deck overlooking the countryside. Toiletries & slippers in bathroom were appreciated. We elected to have dinner made for us the first night and it was delicious and plentiful! Then shared some raki with our hosts. Breakfast the next morning was excellent….enough that we didn’t need lunch any of the days during our stay. Read for a couple of hours poolside each day- quiet & relaxing. George and Sophia are warm, generous, hardworking and fun to converse with. They did everything possible to show us and tell us about the area and culture. We started out as guests but due to our interaction over the few days, we left as friends. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your villas and treating us as special guests. Your friendship was a highlight of our trip!

Perfect location, by the sea and a short walk to the town Air conditioning played up for a day, but Athina the owner sorted it out very promptly Athina the owner is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble

Our hospitality was amazing with great options given to us to see and eat. Highly recommend for a family.

The Katakis family were very gracious and generous hosts and organised car hire for us as well as allowed an early check in. The welcome treats were an added bonus. The garden was cute and we had a lot of space there. The outdoor shower was very romantic. We also saw shooting stars one night lying on the outdoor couch. It was an amazing experience. We will definitely visit again if we come back to crete.
