A picturesque old town that has maintained its character (unlike nearby places like Itea). There is not a lot to do; a couple of days would suffice for Galaxidi; however, you can use it to explore the area. For example the orqacle of Delphi is 30 mins away. Arachova is not far. Nafpaktos abotu 40 mins away. So Galaxidi is a great place to use as a base. In Galaxidi itself there are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas as well as bars and coffee places. Simple sea front town with coffee shops restaurants, mini markets , a kiosk along the beach, no major hotels in town, a super market and a pharmacy and few other stores. Trizonia is a bit of a hidden gem, albeit a tiny one!
Trizonia is a bit of a hidden gem, albeit a tiny one! You probably won't find it on the list of top Greek islands but that's all for the better I say! It's a cure small island, comprising mainly of a cute harbour with 5-6 cafes/tavernas and the island's busiest little beach. There's another little beach around the bay next to Trizonia Bay Hotel, but I recommend renting an e-bike to visit the White and Red beaches. Nice little village neat Parnassos. It feels like the local businesses are never ready to accommodate visitors in high demand period (Long weekends/ Holidays). Most persons come to Delphi for the day from Athens. We stayed over night. The town is small and the restaurant we found was a mom & pop place which added some charm, but after visiting the archaeological site and museum, we could have easily driven to Athens and stayed there, so it depends on one's itinerary as to the need to stay in Delphi overnight.Guest review bySteveUnited States - 10.0

We used Itea as a base to travel to Galaxidi, Delphi, and Arcahova. It’s an attractive little place with sea front cafes/food/bars.
