- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 462 reviewsThe property is beautiful with a large, clean pool with many lounges and umbrellas, as well as a private beach equipped with chairs and umbrellas. The staff was exceptional -- friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast (and all of the food we ate there) was delicious. We booked a family suite with garden view and with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a living room, it was perfect for our family of four. We went horseback riding on a ranch across the street from the property, which was really fun. If you are looking for a relaxing resort, this is the place for you! We highly recommend staying here.Guest review byLauraUnited States

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They provided us with a complimentary room upgrade that we are thankful for! The food at the restaurant was tasty and the area by the pool is very beautiful. The location is great, with a breathtaking view of the famous Koukounaries beach but also easy access to it, either on foot or with the hotel buses, which are available every 15 minutes.Guest review byEleniUnited States

Loved roaming around old town with its many laneways, shops and restaurants. Close to the port . Beautiful view. Easy town to get around. We walked from Nea Chora and used local buses to get to many out of town locations. Eg. Stavros Elafanissi Falassarna. Favourite beach is Golden Beach (a short walk from Nea Chora). Water was crystal clear and it almost has golden sand. Sand at Nea Chora is brown. We did not find a bad restaurant in Chania. Food was excellent. Service is not always good and some waiters were very rude. Red Jane bakery and Bougatsa Iordanis must visit - excellent.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 10.0

Very cool city with lots to explore on the island via the many bus routes. A little expensive, but not too much worse than we found in Athens. Very walkable, and not too crowded to the point of it being detrimental to the experience. The beaches are absolutely beautiful!Guest review byCaitlinCanada - 10.0

We were in Rhodes for two weeks, we were a group of 9 and everyone loved staying there. We toured the island, spent time in Old Town, which was amazing and in Lindos…and the Acropolis was amazing…so beautiful. As well we toured through small towns, and did a day trip to Symi and a day trip to Marmarais, loved them both but Symi was outstanding. We shopped til we dropped, dined out all around Old Town and Rhodes, enjoyed the beaches, had a fabulous night at Rhonda…with Abba music and more. We enjoyed dinners at many restaurants. Rhodes was an excellent choice for our trip!Guest review byNancy - 6.0
The town was buzzing and full of life.
The town was buzzing and full of life. Some excellent restaurants (peskesi a stand out) Beaches were stunning especially when blessed with perfect summer weather. BUT, the traffic is terrible, parking is difficult, road-rules are optional and the lane-ways are very narrow. Visiting Knossos is an absolute must.Guest review byGeorgeAustralia - 4.0

Despite being after peak season it was crowded, noisy, traffic jams quite frequent and pricey. We returned after 20 years to discover that it’s not a place for vacation any more. It’s amazing that the municipality did nothing to improve roads or sidewalks which are almost non-existent so tourist and locals are mixing with cars and bikes.Guest review byALALITISPoland - 6.0
Corfu is a naturally beautiful island.
Corfu is a naturally beautiful island. The scenery, beaches, hikes and local people are great. However, the number of tourists (including us) are a problem. Excess traffic (land and water), crowding and the resulting garbage would affect our ability to recommend a visit to others. There should be limitations placed on the number of visitors at any given time. Car and other vehicle rentals should be limited to locals. Visitors should take taxis or preferably buses only. Your beautiful island is at risk.Guest review byBrianCanada - 4.0
Our ferry was cancelled due to severe weather.
Our ferry was cancelled due to severe weather. Naxos Chora offer free cancellation up to 3pm on the day of arrival. I notified the hotel before 3pm on the arrival day that we could not arrive on the island & wished to cancel that night. We were told later that a refund was not allowed.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.Guest review byBandeleUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A beautiful old town with lots and lots of little streets full of beautiful shops and an array of restaurants. Lots to do, lots to see and many different trips and excursions to be had from this location. Streets are very clean, locals very pleasant (apart from the bus drivers......... rude and abrupt). Sunbeds tend to be expensive - 15 euros a day per person. Overall it's well worth a visit.Guest review byKimboUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I mostly stayed near Kos Town and walked everywhere, averaging about 40k steps a day. I highly recommend learning to ride a bike or, even better, a motorcycle. Renting a car is a good choice, but parking can be tricky.Guest review byGirayTurkey
