- From $1,034.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 108 reviewsThe location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!Guest review byKattieUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 141 reviewsThe views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.Guest review byAnthony JUnited States
- From $163.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 952 reviewsBreakfast is served in a delightful courtyard, and the room I had, across the road from the main building, was fantastic, very spacious, clean, lots of towels, great, comfy mattress and pillows. There is also a bath which I believe bubbles up. Outside the room there were lie-down decks and the environment is pleasant enough to chill in, with cats dropping by to hang too. There is also a communal jacuzzi tub outside.Guest review byPeyvandUnited Kingdom
- From $379.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 347 reviewsSuch a quaint hotel. Great location - close to port but still out of the busy area and noise. Very clean and well managed. The daily delivery of water was very nice. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - so much to choose from! The service was exceptional and staff was very friendly - especially Georgia, who was so helpful and made a birthday dinner very special at Castello.Guest review bySarah J.United States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 254 reviewsThe room was really comfortable and the owner was so helpful. He met us at the port and brought us to the apartment. Getting to the room was like being in a maze. It had really narrow alley’s with several turns. With each turn your presented with a new sights and amazement. You kept climbing up and up and up. The town of Hydra is spectacular.Guest review byJeffUnited States

They all are really friendly so you fell in a family house The breakfast is served by the owner, and everyday is different, with many greek specialties. The location is excellent. 4 minutes to the port, and 1 minute to the best taverna in town. And very quiet. Highly recommended!Guest review byLuisChile

The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean. Excellent experience and host extremely helpful and responsive.Guest review byRobertAustralia - 10.0

Mandraki was a hidden gem of a place, only a 20-minute walk along the coast from Hydra Town, but away from all the hustle and bustle and with its own little beach and taverna - everything you could possibly need for a deeply relaxing holiday.Guest review byTanyaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Hydra is fabulous. It's quite stylish.
Hydra is fabulous. It's quite stylish. There is a wonderful array of bars, cafes and restaurants with delicious food, which was surprisingly good value. There are lots of boats to take you to the different beaches. Great shops from boutiques to supermarkets.Guest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We've been going to Hydra for over 15 years, and love the ease of the island, especially no vehicles. Though the beaches aren't your classic white sandy beaches the sea is beautiful and the people are really hospitable. Our summer is never complete without a visit.Guest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom
