The complex is set in a wonderful, unique setting, it offers various breathtaking views. The staff is both extremely professional and lovely. Special mention to Sotiria, she was a perfect host and we felt very welcome. The site has a very private and unique access to the sea and two pools. The restaurant serves delicious food. Lovely menu, exquisite fresh fish. The breakfast somptuous. We also chose to treat ourselves with cruise on a speedboat, and we absolutely loved the tour around Ithaca. Don't miss it. So many things deserve a mention : the sunset is unforgettable from the restaurant, the staff at the Spa is skilled and very friendly, and we absolutely loved our Yoga and Pilates classes facing the sea. Unforgettable. We will come again.

This place was exceptional! Great view, awesome main pool. Room was excellent with private balcony and private pool as well. Every room comes with a private pool! Staff was very nice and the owner was onsite and greeted us and rest of guests! They made us feel like family. Brand new opened in April 2023! Highly recommend this place!

We had the pleasure of staying at Canale Hotel from July 4th to 11th. I must assert that it stands out as the most exemplary accommodation we've experienced to date:) The hotel's service, as well as the helpfulness, dedication, positivity and pleasant conversations of the staff, made our stay wonderful. We felt as comfortable as if we were at home. Each morning, our day was elevated by Christina’s impeccable breakfast service. We are grateful to the whole team, especially Martine, Maria, and Petros. Our birthday celebration and honeymoon were truly extraordinary. Additionally, Costa Costa Beach and Costa D’ora Restaurant were exceptional. We look forward to the possibility of future encounters. Thank you for everything. Kefalonia, Canale, and the team will always hold a special place in our lives🥰

    Excellent location with seafront terrace overlooking water and promenade for two nights. It was Easter week- had a front row balcony overlooking the Good Friday epitath procession! Only one block from St Spyridon Church where clay pitching smashing is done on Easter Saturday. Very extensive brunch breakfast included daily! Outside seating facing water offered. Street parking just outside- go early to snag a spot. Room cozy but perfect- immaculate, extremely comfortable bed and comforter facing glass balcony doors with amazing view of water and mountains from bed. Good half refrigerator. Good water pressure and hot water. Very kind, welcoming, helpful staff and reception. Always friendly and gracious. Made me feel very welcome.

Once I have written some facts which made my stay unhappy, Booking.com supressed my comment by censoring it to public. If you do not accept and publish it, Why you are asking. I used this opportunity for criticise your unfair approach about sharp criticism. Family was very sincere warm and friendly and facility was clean, quiet and very good.     The tiny beach is right across the hotel and there was nobody there. It's approximately 30 min walking from which I didn't mind, I went for a run or walked. It's good value for the price, with breakfast included, the young receptionist was nice, the room even has a TV (didn't watch) and my room was big with a terrasse. There's a pool as well (didn't use it).

    Argostoli is uniquely located within a long bay of beautiful calm waters with a nice stone bridge from one side to the other side, perfect for an evening stroll before sunset. Food and shopping, however, were not as unique as in the other Greek islands.

    Lots of choice of bars and restaurants all manned by super friendly staff and food was excellent. Everything was close together along with some restaurants overlooking the lovely Sandy beach which stretched for miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had several day trips out exploring everything this beautiful island had to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. You could go for day trips to other beaches, caves and to Ithaka, hire a boat or just stay and relax!

    Not posh or pretentious.

    Not posh or pretentious. Good for a relaxing holiday rather than a one with wild nightlife or prestigious restaurants or exclusive beach clubs. Seemed safe. Most people would go into Argostoli during there trip rather than just stay in Lassi all the time, as it is larger and has many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Taxis between Lassi and Argostoli are not very expensive.

    Loved Lixouri - lovely people, very pretty in the town by...

    Loved Lixouri - lovely people, very pretty in the town by the water, in the square and food delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed ourselves - myself, my husband, daughter and her husband. Only point to note-not far to walk in but uphill walk back.

    Lovely village.

    Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    A scruffy run down port area.

    A scruffy run down port area. Lots of closed nearly derelict buildings. No wonder the taverna owners don’t have much enthusiasm as it’s a dying duck, Water looked minging so we didn’t even bother going in the sea. Beach dirty and covered in rubbish and seaweed. Remetzos bar was quirky and the only restaurant worth going to Otzibars.

    Lovely quiet area, but with ameneties such as supermarkets, restaurants right on your doorstep. No Clubs/Bars etc, banging out kiddie music 24/7 (which is what I call rave/house music....that same beat to every song!!,...... every 'song' sounds the same??....Sh*t!!) OK...Yeah if you (unfortunately) like that kind of thing.....go to Ibiza, Benidorm or Magaluf!!. Lourdhata is the kind of place where you go to unwind & chill out (out of the rat-race). At night you can't even hear a pin drop.....brilliant.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport. There are lots of stunning beaches to visit and an abundance of quality tavernas to visit - we particularly enjoyed Esperides which is set in an orange grove. We also enjoyed the lively La Calma for food and drinks and Milos for fabulous sunset views and delicious seafood. We found lots of local supermarkets for supplies and the greek people were so welcoming and friendly.
