We spent 1 night at Rate ΆνδηροTrikalon and everything was wonderful. The guesthouse is charming, clean, and very cozy, with beautiful details that make you feel at home. The location is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making our short stay truly memorable. We only wish we could have stayed longer – highly recommended!

I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Alissachni Seaside Hotel. The personalized service made me feel special from the moment I arrived, especially with the small touches like the welcome cake and the thoughtful messages before my arrival. What a view! Such a relaxing stay, simply the perfect place to spend a couple of days after walking up and down bustling Athens. Iphigenia and the whole staff are very friendly and breakfast was yummy! We were intimidated by the steep narrow road uphill, but the view is so worthy. The room is beautiful, ample, modern. The private pool is just WOW. The whole property looks brand new and there was some construction going on but it didn't take away from our stay. Again the view! From the pool we could see across the Gulf of Corinth the highest mountains near Delphi. So beautiful, I did not want to leave.

Charming little hotel just across the street from the sea. We crossed the street and took some steps to swim in the sea This is a long term family business with good pride of ownership. The owner and her son are always there. They served a large , delicious breakfast for 4 euros.

    Our first visit at Xylocastro and Arion. Hotel is very modern with all amenities you would expect. Staff exceptionally friendly and attentive to guests. Lot of shaded areas throughout the day to stay outside both at the hotel porch as well across the street by the sea. Service all day for anything from coffee, drinks, snacks, to full lunch and dinner menu is a great offering.

    Loutraki is a nice place for relaxation and pampering. You could swim at Loutraki beach. Be aware that the beach has big pebbles. It is more comfortable to have water shoes with you. In addition, you could pamper yourself at Loutraki thermal spa. At the beach road, there are many different restaurants, taverns, cafeterias for every pocket.

    I love Korinthos. For maybe idiosyncratic reasons.

    I love Korinthos. For maybe idiosyncratic reasons. It is close to Athens, so if you fly in and rent a car for a long drive; this is a close stopover rest city for a couple of days if you don't want the chaos of driving into Athens from the airport with jetlag. I always do Athens on the way out, and Korinthos is always my first night. The nightlife is local and late-night. The beaches are local and easy, laid-back. It never feels touristy to me.

    It’s a small seaside town that might be more of a summer destination as in winter it was a little dull, many shops closed. The town itself is not a destination I would recommend, but if you have a car it is very easy to explore the surrounding area and there you’ll find plenty of spectacular views and places you didn’t want to miss!

    The season ended a week before I arrived on Tuesday 13/09/2022. Some cafe's were closed already. Some cafe's were still open, which was good, and the beach was not busy which was even better... The village main street was all open so I had everything I needed within walking distance. 20 minutes by car, The Corinth Canal Visitor center is worth a 30 minutes stop on the way to Korinthos. Or drop down to Isthmia to catch a boat trip through the canal.

    Remarkable amount to do here. We visited the astonishing Corinth Canal. Recommend staying on outside the Corinthis ruins after closing time on Friday to hear the chanting echoing around from local churches. Thermal springs - including a lovely warm area in the sea. We stayed at King Saron Hotel which we very much recommend - or go there for dinner if staying elsewhere. Fabulous

    Korinthos is a very nice city.

    Korinthos is a very nice city. It has a sense of order and design that makes it easy and enjoyable to get around when compared to other cities in Greece. Very nice beach’s, great restaurants and shops, coffee and dessert locations. Definitely coming back.

    Korfos is a typical, non touristy, greek fishing town, surrounded by beautiful green mountains.The beach is pebbly and the sea very clean. There are plenty of beach cafes with sunbeds and umbrellas. The harbour side restaurants have a great selection of good food at very reasonable prices and the views of the bay are lovely! Everywhere we went the places were clean and well looked after. A great little place for a few days relaxation!!

    Nemea is a wine making region, and there are plenty of wineries open to visit, although we did not have time to do this. We tried to visit the Ancient Nemea site but it was unfortunately closed (closed on Tuesdays). The actual town of Nemea seems to be run down in parts, although effort has been made to plant wine barrels with flowers along the main streets. Locals were friendly when we asked for directions to restaurants, although on a Monday in mid March there was not a lot of choice. We ate at the Hamam Souvlaki Grill, which was very friendly and offered good value grilled meat options.
