WE LOVED IT ALL! As a family of 3 (19 months old baby), the location was perfect. We were near the town altho far from the nightlife noise. The place is amazing! It felt like we were in a little mykonos, just us and the other travelers. The views are scenic, you dont even need to go too far to admire the soothing daily sunsets! The room was clean, pretty, comfortable. The pool was awesome and same as the food and the yummy breakfast. But what we loved the most was: THE WONDERSTAFF!!! They made our stay the coziest as possible. They were the nicest people ever. They would provide everything and beyond the needs of our baby. It felt like home and family! We were actually so sad leaving them! We recommend this hotel 200%. We loved mykonos but we loved Damianos even more! Thanks agn to Thanos, Panos and every working hard staff. We'll be back!

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

Had an absolutely amazing stay. Everything about this hotel was great. The staff and the owners were amazing and very helpful and attentive. Every little detail in hotel is unique and made with care and authenticity. Breakfast was great. The room is super clean and well designed. The location and the views from the hotel are fantastic. The prices in hotel bar/restaurant are more than reasonable and fair. If u want to use public transport to get to the town,the station is just next to the hotel and the busses run every 30 mins , the ticket costs 2€ , u need to have the change for the driver. If u need a super marker its just next to the bus station as well.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Mykonos this past August. Emanuel, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering valuable advice throughout our stay. His service was truly exceptional. The room for three people exceeded our expectations — it was even more spacious and beautiful in person, complete with an incredible view. There were even welcome drinks and complimentary coffee available and a coffee machine in the room. The location couldn't have been better, as it was just a short walk to great breakfast and dinner spots, popular clubs, and the Fabrika bus stop, which made accessing various beaches super convenient. Highly recommend!

The property is super nice in traditional greek island style, with white houses, on different levels. The location is ideal as it’s close to the village but still isolated for a more relaxed experience. Amazing secluded location with stunning views over Ornos bay and access to an exclusive private beach, with crystal clear water. We got an upgrade to the best room with private infinity pool with mesmerizing views and jacuzzi. Staff very friendly and helpful, assisting us with many practical suggestions, scooter rentals, restaurant recommendations, transfers, sightseeing, etc.

Everything about this property was wonderful, we had a plunge pool on our balcony, unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to use it, but we still sat there to enjoy the sun. The walk to the Aegean Sea was less that 3 minutes where you can enjoy a full day of sunbathing and swimming. Food around the hotel was delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly and arranged the check out time for us to catch our ferry. TV was able to access Netflix which was nice. The breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea.

Honestly, everything. I had an amazing time at the hotel. Everyone is so friendly, the beach and the restaurant in front is really good. The breakfast is amazing. They have a spa, sauna and steamroom. I had a cabana right in front of my room with water available and service for food and drinks. I left before breakfast time and they prepared a box of food and a take away coffee for me to eat on the way to the airport. Many restaurants within walking distance and a short taxi ride to town.

This hotel exceeded ALL expectations. The service, the pools, the room, the breakfast, the view WOW I highly highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed! Our room was huge, we had 4 beds, 2 showers and it was so clean. Location was amazing, it is a 1 minute walk to a private beach and a 10 minute ride to old town. Breakfast is great and is till 11 am!

Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).

Very easily accessible to the main town.

Very easily accessible to the main town. Lots of restaurants. However, a big downside is that the restaurants are extremely expensive. It is very easy to get around Platis Yialos. It is a beautiful quaint part of Mykonos and highly recommend staying there. If we did not have access to the beach loungers via our hotel it would have been very expensive to do so.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

Just far enough out of the busy streets of Mykonos town but a few minutes walk into Little Venice. The road in doesn’t have pavements and was a little scary to walk in the dark as cars come whizzing down .

The location is very peaceful and centre of Mykonos, but slightly away from the Chora, however there was no problem for us since we hired a scooter, and with €6 of petrol we covered almost 60% of the city.

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive...

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive lively part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the square restaurants are not overly expensive and the food is delightful. Ano Mera is a short 10 minute bus journey to the amazing beach of Elia.

It was a wonderful property.

It was a wonderful property. I wish we should have stayed longer. It was close to the airport, however the road to get here is narrow and the drive was quite a challenge but you'll get used to it.

We stayed in Agios Ioannis during our trip to Mykonos and absolutely loved it. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful compared to the busier parts of the island, yet still close enough to reach Mykonos Town in just a short drive. The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and stunning sunset views right over Delos. What really stood out was the relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a true escape from the crowds, while still offering lovely tavernas and beach clubs within walking distance. The area felt authentic and safe, with a touch of luxury. If you’re looking for a spot in Mykonos that balances tranquility with easy access to everything, Agios Ioannis is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely return!

LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men.

LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men. Less noisy than Super Paradise. Nudist friendly, great vibes all arround. The only minus is the pricing and conditions because they impose a minimum charge from the bar, that they've never enforced, but still, it's a bit annoying when you already pay 70EUR for 2 sunbeds to also be forced to make a minumum order of 100 EUR from the bar. The beach restaurant is very good.

Asty is a great location, there is a pharmacy and Starbucks...

Asty is a great location, there is a pharmacy and Starbucks across the road, 10mins further up the hill driving is 360 degrees, Zuma, and all the beauty spots alongside by the port. Across the road from the hotel is a straight path that leads you into Mykonos Town, this walk is not for the faint hearted..it’s very steep and very dark at night.
