Exceptional hotel experience! Wonderful 3 day stay. Everything was perfect…..exceptional homemade breakfast, friendliest staff you will ever come across, one of the cleanest facilities I have ever stayed at, very communicative management, greeted and treated like family, drinks and pie on arrival, buffet breakfast for a king or queen. Short 3-5 minute walk to the port town. Very close to fabulous restaurants, bakeries and an assortment of shopping. We were spoiled beyond our expectations. We were definitely return if we are ever blessed to return. Thank you and we will miss you!!!

I expected a nice hotel, and Akre Hotel greatly exceeded these expectations, which was wonderful! Mrs Eleni and her team, Mrs Despina, Elena, and Chrysa, are amazing hosts. Akre Hotel is a brand new hotel that is beautifully designed, has excellent facilities, and has its own private beach. The sea water where they are located is very clean and crystal clear, we loved it, and we really enjoyed the privacy there. It goes without saying that the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Another thing we enjoyed was the food, the breakfast is healthy and has a traditional touch, and there are delicious options for lunch and dinner. Some rooms have their own jacuzzi, an option I definitely recommend, because it was very relaxing to just stay there after spending the day at the beach. Location is always important, so not only is Akre Hotel situated nicely, but it is also close to Agios Prokopios Beach, with the restaurants that are next to it, and a petrol station. Last but not least, I really appreciate how Mrs Eleni and everyone at Akre Hotel were very friendly, very helpful, and very keen on us having an amazing time; this was one of the best places I ever stayed in!

The kindest and nicest family run the place which is seriously perfect. Huge pool overlooking the sea, and only a 10-20 min drive from all the best beaches on the island. There are enough cafes and supermarkets around but their cafe has awesome snacks and great drinks. Chilling by the pool daily was awesome. The apartment had everything you need to cook and relax as a family. Great AC, great bathrooms, and peaceful and beautiful location. We loved this place and it made our vacation wonderful. Absolutely everything! The rooms were stylish, clean and the view of the sea from our balcony took our breath away. The pool is beautiful. The location is ideal to get to the beach in 10 minutes walk but also rent a car to visit the island or take the bus across the street to get into the main town in 15 minutes.

Spacious and clean room with modern and tasteful decoration and all amenities included (access to jacuzzi was a pleasant surprise). Very well located, close to Agios Georgios beach and to the 'Cinema' bus stop providing easy access to other beaches. 5-10 minutes walking distance from the central part of Chora and very close to restaurants, bakeries, super markets and an open air summer cinema : ).     We were traveling before the high season started and did not realized the bus from naxos is not going all the way to orkos beach (last stop was plaka beach). Anyway the reception guys from the hotel were so helpful and came for us to give us a lift. I can't describe how much they helped us as we were with child and it was getting late already. Thank you! The room was really nice, it had great and spacious shower. Even with extra bed for our son there was a place to move around the room, there was couch and small table and nice terrace to sit. Unfortunately there was no shade in there to really enjoy sitting there. The breakfast was pretty standard continental and there was fresh orange juice every morning. If we're coming back to naxos, definitely orkos Beach hotel. Really good value for the money. And I would almost forget, the beach is just across the road and for us it was the best one out of three we tried. :)

    Customer service was an absolute highlight and helped us with everything we needed (rides to/from the ferry, car rentals, places to see and eat). Hell I'm sure if we asked for a unicorn they could find one for us. They were also always in a good mood and very attentive. It's right next to the beach with a ton of restaurants nearby and a bus stop right out front in case you want to hop into the city to do some shopping. The pool is also super nice and there's even a gym with free weights. Protip: Use the Plakcafe sunbeds (part of the same resort). You only need to pay for a drink (which c'mon you were gonna get anyways). We made the mistake of wondering around and had to pay for both the sun beds + drinks when they were free ones right on our doorstep.

    Lianos was amazing for us. Everything looks brand new and is kept incredibly clean. The pool is great, with a fantastic view to the sea as well. All the furniture is stylish and newl, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice. We visited with a one and a half year old baby and they were so helpful and understanding with us and the baby. This is a business done right and frankly it's shocking that it's only qualified at 3 stars. Definitely worth more than that. And it's so much better maintained than other 4star hotels in the vicinity. We absolutely recommend it.

    Friendly and super helpful staff, knew all their names when we checked out as we interacted daily with them. They were able to accommodate our last minute date changes due to a (our fault) mix up on dates. Beautifully Villa, pool and wading pool for the kids across the way. They helped us book the rental car and even had them deliver it to the property, so convenient. Homemade breakfast options were delicious, something for everyone. We ordered food and wine on arrival and they were also amazing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Unforgetable experience in Syrianos hotel. I totally recommend this hotel. Very friendly staff, good location, nice neighborhood, very close to the Chora and very good restaurants. The room is comfortable, clean and is very affordable. Very nice common balcon, cozy and with lots of flowers. The breakfast was not included in the booking, but the staff offered the breakfast everyday with no additional cost. Very pleasure experience to take the breakfast at the common balcony.

    Naxos Chora is a wonderful place to visit for a short while.

    Naxos Chora is a wonderful place to visit for a short while. The older/medieval part is a labirinth of alleys, well worth wandering around and discovering art galleries and shops hidden away. The front is full of taverners catering for all tastes, but it can get very busy. Alternatively you can walk away from the front to have a calmer meal in one of the excellent family taverners. St Georges beach is nearby, a nice sandy bay, with a long slope out into the sea. There is easy access to the ferry terminals, but a taxi will be required to get to and from the airport.

    I’d say 3 days is enough time here.

    I’d say 3 days is enough time here. We stayed where we were as it’s close to the beach and amenities, we didn’t travel elsewhere as it was 25 euro each way in a taxi to the port. We did want to get a quad bike but forgot a listener. Id recommend a few days here and also going to another island and a few days in Athens too. We went to Syros also which was less touristy in a great way.!

    I recommend hiring a quad bike to explore more beaches and the inland areas. This location is very good for if you have a quad bike as you can travel between the old town and the beaches along the coast on the other side, as well as inland. Quad hire is very reasonably priced and the company we used is very nearby. This is a lovely peaceful area. Groceries are a little expensive and there is a bigger supermarket than the one on the corner that has some more options. There are many lovely restaurants a very short walk from the accommodation, along the beach. A few have seating on the actual sand which is really special and romantic for couples.

    Oregano Souvlaki Meze restaurant in Agia Anna - a 5-minute drive or a few bus stops from Hotel Plaka 2. Deliciuos and plentiful food honestly priced ! Poppy, the manageress, is great and very friendly

    Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for...

    Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

    Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

    We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

    Vivlos is conveniently located about ten minutes from Naxos Town and roughly the same to local beaches. There are four or five local taverna's selling simple, good value, Greek food. The bakery is excellent and there is also a small supermarket and butchers. It's a good base from which to explore the island with walking trails marked out from there

    Hotel was difficult to find. It didn't show on Google maps. Eventually found out about 100 meters north out of town where one market is directly across the street from another market. The market on the right out of town essentially checks you in.

    A wonderful place with so much to see.

    A wonderful place with so much to see. A peaceful place full of history. Portara is beautiful both day and night, and even more so at sunset. With a few tours, you can reach Delos, a wonderful island full of history! Near the port of Naxos there are very nice restaurants and pubs for all tastes. The market streets with all the shops are also very suggestive. Tours of the island are also highly recommended.
