From here, you can use a bus to reach Kiato, Corinth and Athens very cheaply. It is a beautiful town with nice monuments and ancient traditions. Pleasant city, active nightlife, many shops and excellent cuisine. From the Gulf of Patra you enter the Peloponnese. One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.Guest review byMilenaSerbia
