We will definitely be returning to this property as it is in a perfect location. Yes you don’t get the sunset view but to be honest that was a blessing. Location is the best in our opinion, offering best views of the caldera, scaros rock, sunset and sea from every corner of the hotel, also easy walk to rest of imerovigli and about half hour walk to Fira. Our room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay, pool area is also very chilled and nice (though they dont allow you to consume your own beverages or snacks). Staff is nice and helpful. We were lucky, because we couldn't have found a better place to experience a perfect sunset with a great dinner. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is always approachable and nice. The breakfast is also excellent with a surreal view. The apartment is special, it also had a nice jacuzzi inside. You have to be prepared for what is a very hilly town. The worse times are when the cruise ships arrive, that’s when it’s worth visiting other parts of Santorini. So beautiful and picturesque! Take lots of photos, you won’t regret it! Restaurants are a bit overpriced but there are plenty of other food options around. Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. Akrotiri is a beautiful town. I definitely recommend visiting the Akrotiri archaeological site, but the entrance fee of 20 euros is honestly way too expensive. Beautiful and relaxing town with everything you could ask for and still without the noise from clubs until late night like in Thira! Oia is a romantic town with views that you will never forget. Ferries tend to arrive at similar times and with up to 5 cruise ships disembarking each day for day trips the town and roads leading to it can get incredibly busy. The only downside is the many stairs you need to climb, which can be tiring in the evening after a full day. On the other hand, in the early morning I really enjoyed jogging through the area. A great place to stay as an alternative to Fira, if you are happy to walk into the town for 15 minutes along a beautiful cliff side walk, which is sometimes steep in places and can be very hot!
