The staff of the hotel was so hospitable, welcoming that I was amazed, one of the best hosts I have ever had. All employees - reception, housekeeping, bar - were so helpful and doing their best to make the stay enjoyable. The room had everything described in the booking. There is a small library in the lobby which has a collection of books in several languages, including English. You can borrow any book and enjoy during sunny hours near the pool by reading a book.
There is a bus stop near the hotel which you can take to go to Fira (Perissa-Fira) and from there to any location. I would like to thank all the staff - Maria and her Team for their hearty welcome and assistance. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Santorini!

Nevertheless, it still keeps intimacy and privacy, you feel like at home. Clean and well furnished rooms, not large but very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Perfect and friendly staff. Parking place for rented cars. The resort is in a nice village, close to the airport. It offers a good beach, plenty of tavernas, restaurants and bars, still not extremely busy and crowded. We highly recommend this place!

The suites were amazing, serene, and so welcoming, the view was nice, the pool is good (but not heated to my preference, it could do with a couple more degrees), the food was great. All in all, the best experience in Santorini was this hotel and that was because of one thing, the staff. Especially Rosy and Thanasis (Thanos), great people to hang around with, great service, amazing and sooooooo kind.

The rooms are nothing short of spectacular. Every detail is thoughtfully curated—the design, the cleanliness, the view… It felt like waking up inside a dream every morning. Stepping out onto the terrace and seeing the breathtaking Aegean Sea, bathed in golden sunlight, was a memory we’ll carry forever.
And the breakfast—oh, the breakfast! Each bite felt like a love letter to Greek cuisine. Fresh, local ingredients, beautifully prepared and served with care. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. We looked forward to it every morning with childlike excitement.
But perhaps the most magical part of Klostra is the pool. Suspended between sea and sky, it offers a serenity I didn’t know I needed. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the poolside, tears in our eyes, hearts full… it was a moment of pure peace.

A Greek Island Dream
Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.
High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.
Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.
Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

I have to make a big shoutout to this amazing hotel, not only because of the accommodations but also the people running this hotel. Firstly, the accommodations: the bedroom was exactly like the pictures, the beds were so comfy, they were fixed to the ground in the same white material of the walls and ceilings, not making any noise… so beautiful! There was a skylight in the big bathroom, making much brighter than we were expecting! The room was connected with other rooms through a lovely patio where we eat our big and excellent breakfast (from which we could, arrange a good snack for the day!). If there was noise from the patio, we could hear it easily I admit, but everyone was respectful, luckily! The patio was a short stair away from the amazing pool, whit a big area to relax around the pool on those hot days (dreamy really!). The location is really central, from the bus station you have to walk a little bit, but it didn’t bother us (you have the possiblility to ask for transfer if you prefer!) And the sunrise... breathtaking! Everything was so nice; you won’t be disappointed at all!
And last but not the least, the personnel… They helped us in a stressful time (a wallet was stolen/lost) and they guide as thought all process, arranging transportation to the airport in a late hour and such a short notice. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for us.
I’ll write here an important tip: if you travel to an island in Greece by airplane, make sure if you have to have a layover, make it in Athens. If your ID cards get stolen, if you have only a layover inside the country, you will only need to go to the police and get a paper (written in Greek). If that is not the case, you have to fly to Athens to your embassy and spend easily almost 100€ a flight (is way fastest than the boat) to go there and take care of everything you need, adding another 100€ to come back to the island. Is an all-day loss.
Regardless all the setbacks, we highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were brilliant- from the driver who transferred us to and from the hotel to the porters who lugged our bags all the way from car to the rooms and back to the friendly and helpful staff at reception, in the restaurant and in housekeeping. They all catered to our every need. We didn't have to lift a finger
The room itself was amazing. Very comfortable and lots of space to spread out. The balcony/terrace had a perfect view of the caldera and an uninterrupted view of the sunset. There was absolutely no need to travel to Oia to see the sunset.
The hotel's location was great - about midway between Fira and Imerovigli. Easy access to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Loved our stay here.

Superb boutique hotel perfect for a quiet get away. Large room, incredible hotel pool and sandy beach right across the road with loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Amazing breakfasts and cocktails by the pool. Cant recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a beach break away from the crowds in Fira and Ouia. We never had to book a table, lounger or wait for a table. We'll definitely be back.

In August we stayed in Grace Hotel and what an amazing experience it was in this world-class boutique hotel! We enjoyed our stay to the fullest thanks to wonderful staff, in particular Silvia and Georges who took great care of us all the time! Lazy mornings with tasting-like menu paired with some bubbles, chilling by the infinity pool and enjoying spectacular view is exactly what we needed from Santorini!

White Santorini is in an excellent location! The staff are very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed during our time in Santorini. Our room was clean, unique and comfortable. The "hot tub" was great to have after a day of adventures, to relax and have a cold beer in. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily and had a great selection to choose from.

Fira and Oia are the heart of Santorini and both spectacular...
Fira and Oia are the heart of Santorini and both spectacular. Fira has more to offer in terms of restaurants and shops, but Oia is even more picturesque and unique. I was happy to have stayed in Fira given its more centralized location, but it would be tragic to stay here and not also spend some time in Oia. Keep in mind that both towns are built on very steep and uneven terrain. While the main shopping lanes are relatively level, many hotels and other businesses require significant physical effort to access, so choose your accommodations with this in mind if you have any mobility issues.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

We put a lot of thought into the location. We deemed Oia too busy and crowded and Fira as possibly too noisy. Imeroviglia was our ultimate choice and it turned out to be the right one; the best views, great places to stay, delicious restaurants nearby. We would recommend it to anyone who wanted a second (or first) honeymoon. It was that magical.

Third time to the island of Santorini. Twice to Kamari. Beautiful beach. Amazing atmosphere. Spoilt for choice for restaurants and things to do. Can be as high or low budget as you wish. The place to leave your life behind and rejuvenate. Solo travel, couples or family get away, Kamari serves all.

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff.
Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

Akrotiri is a peaceful and beautiful part of Santorini, away from the busy tourist areas. It has an authentic local atmosphere, great views, and easy access to the Red Beach and the famous archaeological site. Ideal for those who love history, nature and quiet holidays.

Beautiful village and I’m sure a couple of days would be a better length of stay. On both occasions we have visited we have had only one night there. Good choice of restaurants in easy walking distance. Lovely individual shops.
