I had an excellent experience at Reforma Hostel. First, both staff that I interacted with were kind, friendly, and accommodating. Second, the facilities were fantastic- comfortable bed, hot showers, and clean atmosphere. I especially appreciate the extra touches in the dorm, such as curtains for privacy, reading lamps, and lockers. The breakfast was simple but pleasant. Overall, this is excellent value and I highly recommend it to any travelers passing through or exploring Guatemala City.

Honestly the sweetest and most caring hosts in all of Guatemala! Definitely go and stay here if your looking for a place in Guatemala City/Airport. We arrived late after a horrendous bus journey and it felt like coming home! Yvonne and her husband were beyond lovely, we felt super safe and welcomed into their home. They even gave us a lift to the airport early the next morning even though its just around the corner. Room/Beds and bathroom spotless clean as well. 100000% recommend

Hostal is a maybe two blocks from Guatemala airport. Perfect for an overnight stay if your flight arrives in late. Take a quick cheap Uber to the location. Solo female traveler friendly. You have to ring the doorbell to be let in. If you’re a light sleeper, the walls are extremely thin here. Ask the front desk for a fan like I did and it helped a lot. Also, take an eye mask as it has a ceiling sky light. Breakfast is a traditional Guate one but does the trick.

The staff were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with on the booking app. They were so welcoming and friendly. It was just my young daughter and I, we got in late and were very tired and they were kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a bathroom. Very close to the airport, $3 Uber and it arrived in 2 minutes. Rooms were dated but very clean. We felt safe here. Would stay here again if flying in/out of Guatemala.

I stayed multiple times in this place. Certainly Mariana's Petit Hotel is my home away home. Thanks to owners Fernando and Jeannett for their exceptional hospitality. Wonderful staff, Ofelia and Mildred made me happy with great breakfast and kind services. Free shuttle service is awesome and makes it so easy in and out of the airport. This is the jewel of Guatemala City with a great value. I don't need anywhere else.

I liked that it had a kitchen where you could cook and loved the terrace too. We had a private bathroom and that was great too. The location was good and the staff super friendly. If you’re passing by Guatemala City, it’s worth staying here. We felt super comfortable. Also there are some bars and terraces just across the street and a supermarket. It’s close to the airport as well.

Súper clean, comfortable, coffee in the room. Very close to a mall. Best part was the owners were very responsive and caring for my purpose of the visit. Very safe building with a security guard. 3 locked doors to enter the apartment. Clean, nicely decorated in Mayan decor. I would highly recommend staying here and would book again next time I need to be in Guatemala City.

The property was spacious and had spectacular views over the city from every window in the house. The luxury of a good washing machine and dryer were essential for this stage of our travels and we managed to get everything clean and dry before we left. It felt like a real bit of luxury after our time spent travelling backpacker style around Guatemala.

we loved the building, the room, the room service was really good. it is a weird location, there is nothing walking distance, but we found uber in Guatemala cheap, so moving around was easy, at least on sunday because I have heard there is plenty of traffic the rest of the week.

The host was amazing, probably the nicest host we had in all of Guatemala, and vert helpful. The place was clean and tidy and there is a common area and also breakfast included (although we had to leave before breakfast started). It was also nice with hot water in the shower.

Everything was perfect. The owners picked me up from the airport even though I arrived very late. Room was clean, cool and comfy and the shower was good and hot. Breakfast was much appreciated too. I could not have hoped for a better welcome to Guatemala! Thank you so much.

The location was great. The value was great. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I loved that there were easy access electric outlets, sometimes that can be hard to find in Guatemala. I also loved that the toilet and sink were separate from the shower.

Perfect stay, really amazing people at the hostel, great breakfast. I forgot my watch when we left the room, but they responded so well and quickly. They secured my watch and I could pick it up when I went back to Guatemala City. Really good and trustworthy host.

Ready access to La Aurora airport. Simple accommodations for the experienced traveler who has no need for upscale pampering and its attendant costs. I am frequently in Guatemala for community development volunteer work and invariably stay at Los Lagos.

We stayed there a night after landing in Guatemala. Super nice ppl, good hospitable ambiance, nice breakfast. Everyone was very helpful, the price was quite decent and knowing the money is used to help the community is a great bonus.

Perfect for budget traveler going to and from Guatemala's International Airport. Impossible to be closer to the airport but not under the flight path because I didn't hear the planes. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Great stay walking distance to the airport. I stayed here twice, on my way in and out of Guatemala. Safe to walk to the airport at 4am, just stay on the main road 0 issues. Host was lovely. Plenty of hot water. Very queit

we used this hotel for a 24 hour lay over in Guatemala city before travel. the hotel is in zone 10 which is a great safe location. the staff are friendly and the rooms are big, clean and have all the amenities you need

Communication with the host was fine. Of course I had to googletranslate not only my messages but also my host's messages. Location is good to see real Guatemala City, walking distance to the Culture Palace.
