Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities.... Very nice hotel! Across the bridge from Rio Dulce itsself, but everything is a short tuktuk ride or boatride away. Perfect location and pool. Very nice cabins! Best we had in the whole of Guatemala.

Located in the middle of the jungle, 1.9 mi from Livingston Town Center, Finca Tatin features an extensive garden, a furnished terrace and hammock area. The location is absolutely stunning, you're sleeping in the middle of a mangrove. The place is beautiful, it has a pingpong table, a reasonably priced bar, it's clean, the river is nice to swim in, the food is very very good! The kayaks are cheap, the tours support the locals. But it's a little secluded, so you're spendiing some time there :) which isn't bad, but might not be for every type of traveller.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Hotel Villa Caribe is set in gardens overlooking Izabal Lake and the Caribbean Sea. Great location, beautiful pool. Friendly staff - especially at the front desk and the porters who assisted with bags. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable with nice terraces/patios looking over the pool and out into the ocean. We were there for just a night on a work/team-building trip and it was a great place to rest and recharge our batteries after a long day of activities. They also accommodate a later checkout and let me, my daughter, and our sitter stay on the grounds while the rest of the team was out at Siete Altares y Playa Blanca. Overall, a wonderful refugee for a little luxury in Livingston.
