Superb hotel with amazing view from the room. It is a very quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and olive gardens where guests can walk. We got a lot of new impressions, wish we could stay a few more days. There is a winery under the hotel with terrace for degustation right above the vineyard! Special experience was to try Malvasia wine from 4 different soils.

    The apartment was fantastic. Hotel was beautiful but so glad we got the apartment for our family of four instead of booking two apartments. Great views of the rolling hills, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Being able to use the indoor pool was fantastic after a hot day of touring the town. Beautiful oasis garden in the back to to relax. Easy to park behind the church and a much needed pickup from the hotel delivered to the front door (The walk up the hill is not an easy one). Kids loved the loft beds and the kitchen was fantastic.

    Amazing and big choice in breakfast. The delicious eggs with truffels boosted the start of our day! The view from our room as well as the stunning view from the balcony are undescribable. Parking costs were included and the hosts picked us up and dropped us off at our car. WHAT A SERVICE! Thank you very much for the wonderful end of our vacation.

    This was an incredible place to stay! We were in the “annex” location in the small village. Wow! It was beautiful, quiet, felt incredible to be in the old yet beautifully redone building! Easy walk to the main building where we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub!! The morning breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend staying here!

    Great little town to walk around in. Great local wineries. Amazing local fruit stand as you make your way up the hill. He had the best selection of the most wonderful fruit and veggies. The ice cream was fantastic. Sampling of truffles and local alcohol without being pressured was amazing. Just fantastic hospitality overall shown by the locals.

    We visited Buzet around 5pm in late July and it was extremely quiet and a bit underwhelming with only 2 cafes open. Nearby towns are more lively and beautiful. However it is supposed to be buzzing in autumn for truffle season.

    Grožnjan is a jewel of a town with a charm all its own. I could stay here for weeks and never tire of strolling along the cobbled streets and narrow alleyways. There are numerous cats to befriend as well. The only drawback are the crowds, which are enormous during the summer. The best time to visit is in the spring and autumn when the crowds are fewer and the galleries are still open.

    The nature around Pazin is simply amazing.

    The nature around Pazin is simply amazing. I have had a really hard time choosing which routes I want to take, cause there were many great things. There were also many other things to do that I did not even get to, such as a visit to the cave, the ziplining and exploring the old city. I would love to come back again and stay longer to explore the things that I did not have time for during this trip.

    The village is charming like stepping back in time. Our stay at Foscari was truly exceptional in every way. A fabulous restaurant a 5 minute walk away Sanvincent53 - we attended twice as the food and wine selection was exceptional. The interior & exterior design were modern yet we felt at home with the thoughtfully created ambiance. Driving in surrounding areas was easy and people friendly wherever we went.

    Beautiful charming town with plenty to see and do .Local events ,rich culture ,peaceful,quiet and serene. Amazing restaurants,wine bars ,cake shops ,supermarkets and fast food options . Safe and very welcoming. Due to it's location it's probably the best place to stay if you want to explore Istra as everything is 25/30 min away from Žminj yet you come back to a peaceful and quiet area where u can get enough sleep. Plenty of local events too ! Amazing little town :) There is a lovely big park in the shade where u can bring your kid to play every single day and at the end of the day you start feeling like a local !

    Motovun is a wonderful place full of history and unique charm, though travelers should know that almost all of the restaurants and bars are closed during the month of February. In February it resembles a ghost town.

    Very nice town, lovely locals, food and local distillery products and tryouts of various drinks cocktails. We called the town of truffles as here it is plenty of them and you can taste even beer with truffles, cookies, salt, cheese, butter, oil, etc. Everything can be tryout with a flavor of truffle.

    Grožnjan was a charming hill-top village in a stunning location. The town is filled with artists selling their products and the village was absolutely gorgeous with stone buildings and streets. We ate at Bistro Artegnana 1798, and the food and service were great. The view towards the ocean was lovely and perfect for your next sunset. Definitely recommend a visit.

    Pazin itself isn’t that great - the chasm is pretty disappointing. However, the countryside around is lovely and there are some great walks and bike trails. Because of Pazin’s central location, it is a good base to explore the region. Lots to see and do in the area.
