The staff is extra welcoming. The spa is absolutely wonderful, we reserved and hour for ourselves and came out pure zen (the finnish and steam saunas were dreamy). Absolutely perfect staff !! receptionists I talked to ... , staff in the restaurant ... , cleaning service ... every single person I met was friendly and helpful. This is not always a standard also in other 4* hotels, especially during high season and fully booked hotel. What else ? we missed the dinner first evening (as we arrived too late), the dinner was waiting for us prepared in our room ! without asking/ordering in advance. Absolutely quiet location in the night, after 22:30 you can hear waves from the sea also in rooms oriented to the pool. No noise from other guests, no shouting & laughing from the bar ... The hotel was full of families with children (including mine) and the night was really quiet every time - I was surprised - we could sleep with window open although our room was oriented to the pool. Hotel was fully booked but there were no queues in restaurant, neither morning nor lunch or dinner, as mentioned already, the staff did a great job. Food was very good and tasty, with so many choices of cold and warm kitchen, fresh fruits and vegetables. Nothing was missing even if we came 15 minutes before closing ! We also very much enjoyed Croatian water melons, they were just great. Big plus is also an option to eat on big and spacious terrace (if it's not too hot), close to promenade. Room was pretty small and simple furnished, but clean and practical. However the stay in this hotel was not about the room, but rather about the service and the food and the sea of course ...

We loved the room and the beach. The staff was great, everyone was so nice. The piñas coladas at the Kaktus bar were amazing and the food was also delicious. It was my birthday and they prepared me cupcakes with candles for dinner. The place is amazing and the beach is beautiful, just be sure to take some shoes because there are rocks at the beach. There are a lot of activities to do during the day and the island has beautiful spots. After the check out they let us stay there and use the facilities, which was great. Thank you for an amazing stay we had a lot of fun!!

The beach is amazing in Tucepi, but at this time of the year (early June) the sea is still a bit chilly (not that it stopped us from swimming though). It is literally placed in front of the hotel. We loved the pool and kids activities. The animators were really doing their best to make the trip memorable for our daughter, so we could all enjoy it. There was a quiz and lovely live music in the evenings. The food was very delicious and there was plenty of choice for everyone. All the workers were very kind and lovely, from receptionists to hygienists.

It's an expensive city. There's no information to get around with Google Maps, so most of the time you have to see information at the bus stop on how you will be going. Take an activity kayaking tour; it's my highlight, or visit Lokrum Island if you are bored with the Old Town.

Beautiful old town, I ate in 4 different restaurants and it was all delicious. Definitely go and sit for an hour at sunset at the sea organ, it's an experience I will always remember. There is a mini beach right beside the park which is worth going to if you enjoy swimming. All the people are very friendly!

Hvar is beautiful and has enough to be relaxing, or to have fun and excursions if you want them. The recent sound curfew means it is a great place for those not so keen on being kept up by those partying, but there is a lively atmosphere in Hvar Town. The beaches are all pebbly and public, so open to all. Beach shoes are a must, but there are ample sun loungers to rent and the water is crystal clear. There are loads of restaurants and cafes, and no hassling by them trying to get you in, which was refreshing. There is lots to do, the fort is worth the walk, and there are numerous boat trips to the other beautiful islands, there are water sports and an inflatable aqua park too.

Šibenik is not just a holiday resort – it has a lot to offer. It is a city full of spirit. There seemed to be an ongoing music festival, as there was live music every day. The old town is breathtaking: lively, narrow, white-paved streets, ancient houses with bare stone walls, the air filled with the scent of the sea, a busy port, and tourists who are warmly welcomed. There is a city beach, but I recommend leaving Šibenik for swimming – for example, to one of the nearby islands or to smaller beaches outside the inlet. The city is also a great starting point for visiting Krka National Park – we agreed it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen.

Vodice is a very crowded place.

Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.

It’s a very classy small town with stunning bays, impressive private boats visiting, plenty of water-sport activities and countless little boats taking people to islands and to/from Dubrovnik. Also plenty of restaurant and bar options. Water was a lovely temperature to swim in (Sept). It is so close to the airport, which is very convenient. We weren’t planning to hire a car but ended up doing so because it was necessary to get to a decent/large supermarket (Lidl). We found the small supermarkets in Cavtat were unsuitable if you’re self-catering (limited choice and pricey). The car meant we could explore more too. We would highly recommend a trip to Molunat. It was stunning, quiet, and take your swimming stuff. Also, Mlini and Sebreno were also beautiful.
