- From $241.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,899 reviewsEverything was great about our trip to Dubrovnik and staying at Lero! Just few minutes walk to the Old Town and when we were tired it was easy to order Uber and we paid 9-10 euros for a trip between Old Town and hotel Lero. There was a bus stop just across the hotel, but we never used the bus. Supermarket, restaurants and travel agencies are also just outside the hotel, which was convenient. The room was big and clean, comfy bed. We also got upgraded for free and got a room with a balcony, which was a very nice surprise! The pool was clean and even though there were always people there, we always could find spots for us to relax, very nice that the hotel provided separate towels for the pool. Breakfast was ok, a lot of options to choose from. And staff were very nice, polite and kind! Like all the people in Croatia! We loved it in Dubrovnik and we are very happy that we decided to stay at Lero!!!Definitely recommend this one!Guest review byALGERussia

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a great variety to start the day perfectly. Plus, the hotel is just a short walk from the beach, which was a huge bonus. The room was very spacious (we were at the residences). The breakfast was great! Was more than what I expected! Lots of facilities on one location to complete your vacation: spa (complimentary use of jacuzzi and sauna/ steam room), kids area, etc.Guest review byMyrnaSuriname
- From $448.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,156 reviewsAmazing location and awesome views. Housekeeping was excellent especially Elizabeth. The front desk could have been better. There was a lack of communication between the front desk and the restaurant regarding the inclusions. A minor hiccup well compensated by the amazing wait staff, housekeeping and awesome views.Guest review byRajivAustralia

Substantially restored after the war, and taken over by...
Substantially restored after the war, and taken over by AirBnB's, the true local population has fallen from over 6,000 to under 1,000. As a result it's very pretty but reminiscent of Disneyland or the New Orleans French Quarter: there are few or no local shops and apart from all us tourists everyone is a waiter, a guide or a cleaner. That said, it certainly lives up to its reputation for beauty, and offers a limitless selection of restaurants. It is scrupulously clean, and feels very safe (we did not see a single policeman). Not cheap. Museums underwhelming: partly because the tiny city was blessed with peace under wise rulers for most of its existence, and there is an understandable reluctance to highlight the WWII years. I still felt they could have done a bit more with it.Guest review byGuyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The island has a lovely combination of great beaches, clear, clean sea, stunning scenery with some exciting drives down windy steep roads to the shore, history and quaint, narrow streets in Korcula Town itself.Guest review byDaviesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There was a lot to do in the area, whether a person wanted to shop at a shopping mall, or smaller souvenir shops. The downtown Dubrovnik area was a short ride away, which offered great views and history of Old Town where a person could spend several days at all the shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and even take a cooking class - which we did. There were plenty of gellato shops on every street. I highly recommend the Local Cooking Class where we learned how to make bread, cook mussels, make macaroni, then candied almonds for a sweet treat. Then we enjoyed our meal together - it was wonderful.Guest review byTeresaUnited States - 8.0

There is quite long promenade at the coast, there is Gelateria Croccantino with delicious ice cream, cakes and cheese + pumpkin pie, there are nice boat excursions to 4 islnds (Vrnik, Korčula (Lumbarda), Badija and Stupa Velika), there is cheap ship ride to the town of Korčula many times per day. On Monday evening there is one hour guided tour of Orebić, free of charge.Guest review byGordanaSlovenia - 10.0
Vela Luka is a hidden gem!
Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!Guest review byPascale AljureColombia - 8.0

The Arboretum Trsteno was an interesting place, a respite from the heat. It was cool in the trees. Game of Thrones episodes are filmed at the fountain! But there is no cafe, only a vending machine. Walking down to the sea for a swim was worth it, but you need sturdy footwear, water and snacks.Guest review byClaire ZingelNew Zealand - 10.0

Zaton is 15min from crowded Dubrovnick, just a right amount of driving on a very nice coastal road to reach the city center. The bay is so peacefull with only a couple of nice seafood and italian restaurants all "pied dans l'eau" Just sip some wine, in the water or on the decks and enjoy the sunrise, the sunset and the moonrise, between water boats and a mountain.Guest review bydianaLebanon - 6.0

It was very quiet, which I liked but I went with my daughter (22). There was not much happening in Slano. I think it's more for retirement aged people. Supermarkets were dreadful Picturesque though and the sea was so cleanGuest review byFiIreland - 10.0
