The breakfast buffet (with daily live music/pianist!) and service at breakfast was outstanding and generous and a joy to linger over on the terrace or under the arched patio. Our room with a balcony view of the sea was fresh, comfy, and done in such soothing colors. We loved the quiet indoor/outdoor pool area, the close vicinity to the beach walk, and free use of the sauna/steam rooms. Lovely location with fantastic views , lots of faded elegance. It’s a place that was obviously frequented by rich tourists,but time has moved on and sadly now lots of the buildings are incredibly shabby. The restaurants are of a good standard,and the fish is excellent. Overall building maintenance is important if you are having a appartement for lease. It will reflect the overall rating. Crikvenica is the biggest beach resort town in the Kvarner region, with a choice of pebble, sandy or concrete beaches. There are a lot of facilities along the beaches - bars, restaurants, child amusement etc. There is also a problem - the city is overcrowded in the summer. A dense traffic, lack of space on the beaches, lack of parking spaces. This is the closest coastal city to Zagreb and many other cities in the northern Croatia, so there are obviously a lot of one day visitors.Guest review byBojanCroatia - 10.0

Malinska has a very long coast line with a multitude of beaches, from stony and secluded to small pebbles good for children. A picturesque center with a lot of eateries and bakeries, large grocery stores where you can buy excellent meats and fruits. Stayed in the old town which is a gem of a place, on a peninsula with lovely winding alleyways and churches. So well maintained and clean. No litter or graffiti and everything picture perfect! And there were good places to swim on small beaches below the bell towers. There was also a large sandy bay about 10 mins walk outside the old town near the Valamar hotel. We ate at the beachside bar on the seaside promenade in the old town ( at the bottom of the cliff), they did great veggie food and other options. The city looks nice and there are many options to eat and have drinks. The beaches are beautiful and they are easily reachable on foot and with bikes that you can rent in the city. The Museum of Apoxyomenos was awesome! Worth every penny! All in all it was nice there, but the prices of drinks at cafes and bars are outrageous.
