I liked that I had to use Google Translate to communicate with owners. Why? Because it made the experience of being with a genuine local and real. I learned how to use it in an easily shared conversation. I also liked that the home is in a small village and near a wonderful nature reserve. The care to prepare meals for me, what I wanted, didn't want (meat), and whenever I wanted from their own garden was outstanding. Being personally taken to the nature reserve and to an, ATM was above and beyond service. My work as a customer service consultant for major corporations like Ford, BMW, Harley Davidson, etc. qualifies me to describe this experience as a real treat, but only if you if you want to learn about the Croatian culture.

Locarion was "out in the wild" in a pozitive way.. right nexr to the Sava river in an area filled with storks. The rooms are very rustic looking on the outside but nicely transformed on the inside to include modern needs: AC, wc,hot water, etc. There was a restaurant there and we had dinner even if we arrived quite late in the evening and breakfast was GREAT!
