I love this hotel, the check in was early, wonderful room size and bathroom, shower water, perfect pressure, all amenities with lovely shampoo, vanity kit, shower cap, coffee and teas, very comfortable bed, location of hotel very easy access from rail station by tram, everything needed within a walk. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating to please you. Helpful, wonderful best breakfast, farm to orchard fresh. Definitely spreading the word on this new hotel.

Everything was better than we expected. The room was clean. The breakfast was excellent. Parking is free but only on the streets, in a specific area around the hotel (the hotel gave us a parking permit). You have to find yourself a free parking lot, no reservation is possible.

    We had breakfast and dinner paid for and they were buffet. Excellent variety and quality of food. The hotel also offered a free soup for lunch and they had a la carte ordering in case you wanted something different. The room was large and the feeling was great. The spa is excellent and the kids had their own pool with plenty of toys to keep them occupied. Almost everyone spoke good English and we had no problems with any of the stuff. They were very kind to our children and we felt great. The room had a great view, there are some beautiful buildings, we also saw a hot air balloon directly from the balcony. They had a very large room for children filled with toys. Also a huge courtyard witch benches, decorations and a children's playground.

    Staff friendly, we could even check-in 1.5 hrs early The building is an old mill, we come from a mill tradition family ourselves so was a great find. Room was large, bright and not at all noisy. But it depends were your room is located because there is indeed a large road nearby. Breakfast was aboundant and the best I had in 1 week of traveling.

    Debrecen is a wonderful city to visit and live in.

    Debrecen is a wonderful city to visit and live in. It has a charming mix of history, culture, and modern life. The city center is very walkable, with beautiful squares, cozy cafés, and the impressive Great Reformed Church as a landmark. Public transport is easy to use, and the tram line makes getting around the city straightforward. What makes Debrecen especially nice is its relaxed atmosphere compared to Budapest — it feels calm and welcoming, yet still lively with students and young people thanks to the University of Debrecen. The university itself and the surrounding park are absolutely worth a visit. For nature lovers, the Nagyerdő (Great Forest) area is perfect for walks, cycling, or just relaxing. There are also thermal baths and wellness options that make the city feel both vibrant and restful. Overall, Debrecen is a clean, friendly, and affordable city with plenty to see and do without the rush of a capital. A great choice whether you’re coming for study, work, or just a short trip.

    A small, sleepy town, whose biggest "attraction" are the once famous thermal baths. Don't be fooled! This thing may have impressed party dignitaries in 1971, but today it is just a large, empty, sad, neglected and outdated place with almost no people and almost everything closed. Just a few pools of hot, tea-colored water and that's all. It's not worth it. It's better to eat goulash in one of the local restaurants on the main promenade (very tasty) and continue on your way. It's not worth wasting time on thermal baths.

    The hotel's location is famous for 2 additional options: M3 Outlet Shopping Center vis-a-vis the hotel and Archaeopark Polgar - recreated small village about land life ~ 800 years ago. The former is open/closed based on COVID restrictions, the latter is closed down for several years now. Beside the latter there is an interesting wood arch bridge (you can see it from the highway) on which you can walk over to another wide meadow field on the other side of the country road - good for a 45 min hike.

    Hortobágy is a fantastic destination of Hungary. If you wanna relax and forget about all of your city life than it's a perfect Holiday Program. Don't forget to take a carriage to the Horse Show programs, it starts at 10 am, 12 am. It will last a lovely 1.5 hour. Get back to the village and have a cool traditional Hungarian dish. Tray the gulyas 🍲 soup. Fish soup. Gulyás sous with noodle.

    This town is a must see!

    This town is a must see! Wonderful museums (Agora, Modem, Déri), hidden gem cafes (Vintage World), thermal water (Aquaticum), concerts and other shows at the Kölcsey Cultural center, a walk in the Big Forest near the University or in the historic town center with amazing architecture and the emblematic Great Church. We shall return and spend some real time exploring!

    That's a small city, therefore not so many attractions...

    That's a small city, therefore not so many attractions besides the spa. Speaking of spa, there are two separate ones: - closer to the center there is the one with medicinal thermal water - in the autumn being mainly populated by pensioners - the aqua park is the second one - that's quite big, but I don't see as being well designed - if it's about the aqua park, I like better the one in Mako If it's about restaurants - there is a nice one at Hotel/Restaurant Nelson. Food inside the two spas is at least disappointing in the autumn - not a big variety, not the best quality - again Mako is far better.

    Vibrant town in Eastern Hungary, with long history, and modern vibe. Worth visiting for the main sights: the "big church" and the "big forest", Déri museum and the Zoo, but also for the nightlife and the cafés and restaurants. Easy access by train, plane and motorway, and a peaceful yet vibrant inner city with a nice pedestrian quarter. Good shopping in two plazas and some shopping centers outside of the city. There is also a theatre, the university with events going on, a health spa and aquatic wellness center and even a puppet theatre for the kids! Overall a great place to see.
