All for for vegetarian, lactose intolarance, kids, babies. Plenty of fruits and cofee was good too. All inclusive includes beer and wine nothing else, but I appreciated in the saloon every day 1.5 l of cold szentkiralyi mineral water, beside of the other free beverages, like coke, sprite, juices etc. The kids got suprise package saturday morning in front of the door, so nice. So many animation is available, written everywhere in 3 different languages. Interactive tables are available, but also board games as well. -1 floor has a gamer room for bigger kids but also play room for lil kids. 1 first floor had all activity area for the animation and another playroom for the kids. The kids pool was the best and next to it another pool for babies.No chlorine smells at all and sightseeing train is avalible as well. Outside of the park found several tennis courts, mimigolf, outside chess, bowling, playground. All in all number one for families. We stayed one night at Termal krt.25 in Bukfurdo on our way to Croatia. And it was a great choice! We were captivated by the silence, peaceful surroundings and comfort of this place! Next time we would love to stay longer to try local therma and other attractions :)Guest review byMariaPoland - 10.0
It is a nice town.
It is a nice town. We are planning on going back for the festival. There are other things to see. The Izsum was very interesting along with the museum falu. There are some nice paths to walk along the stream that runs through town. There are some long bike paths available. It is big enough to spend a long weekend but small enough to walk about everywhere. It is easy to get there by train.Guest review byGordon - 6.0
The old town is pretty, but very small: one can walk around...
The old town is pretty, but very small: one can walk around it in little more than half an hour. There are a couple of old churches, very pretty inside but under heavy restauration (scaffolding) outside. A 17th Century Jesuit pharmacy is preserved as a diverting little museum, but the main town museum is closed - apparently indefinitely (?). The castle is worth visiting but large parts of the exhibition were also closed, for no apparent reason. Still, there is a very interesting small exhibition on the Hungarian Crown and its regalia, and how they were saved from the Fascists and smuggled out of Hungary during 1944-45. The archive film footage of the Royal Crown Guards from the same period is fascinating. Perhaps the most interesting sight in the town is the former synagogue, architecturally quite unusual in design, built in 1858-59, left derelict after the entire Jewish community was deported in 1944, finally restored in 2021 and now resplendent in its pristine beauty with the original decoration clear to see.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Spa in Bük is very good - large with many pools, including healing ones. It also provide entertainment for children - toboggans, whirlpools, waterfalls, etc. Spa as well as the city have nice typical Hungarian restaurants (Aurora, Vadvirág Czárda) and patisseries (Villa Rosato Cukrászda). City and its surroundings are ideal for biking trips or just walking/jogging. There is a lot of bike trails. 4-5 days was sufficient. We used the city as a base to travel to Sopron (train travel is free for pensioners). In the city there were places to visit showing the history of the town and a lovely lake about 30 minutes (walk) to the northwest of the city centre.Guest review byDavina - 10.0

It is perfect for people fond of touring in the hills and woods, many interesting sights to see. Kőszeg also has famous Jurisich Fortress worth of seeing and learning about its history. It is also quite close to some other places to see, so you have quite a choice of possible routes to take. Kőszeg also has very interesting architecture, very many old houses included in national heritage, even our accomodation was in one of those. Bük is ideal place for calm holiday.
Bük is ideal place for calm holiday. Spa area is mostly preffered by retired persons. Winter time there is limited qty of bath pools for children under 14, as most of healing pools are allowed for older than 14 years only. Don´t forget to take the crocs sandals to spa, as officially is required there. If you go to spa at the opening time, you can be there on your own, especially in working days. In the afternoon there are much more people then. Bük is very calm place, shopping malls nearby, restaurants as well. In the car distance 25 km worth to visit nice small city Köszeg, and big Sarvar. In Sarvar, local spa are more suitable for families with kids, but even in February well hell overcrowded. We tried to arrive for Saturday evening with discounted entry rate (after 6 p.m.), thus, there was totally no parking space and queue at the entrance about 100 people, so we gave up. As for restaurants - Aurora we visited. At trip advisor it is considered as best one in Bük.
