Seminyak is a lively place but not as crazy as Kuta or Legian. Good places to eat, have a massage, relax on the beach, go to hair salons (if that is your thing) and shop at upmarket shops or down at the flea market where there was also cooking classes going on. Can't beat a few days in Seminyak. Never stay for too long before heading some place else but always good for a few days, normally last few before we head home.Guest review byadrianAustralia - 10.0

Uluwatu is an amazing place! We explored the area by motorbike and taxi, spent our days surfing and relaxing on the beaches, and enjoyed the local restaurants. Compared to most other tourist areas in Bali Nusa Dua and Benoa is a much quieter and layback location if that is what you are looking for. There are lots of nice restaurants within short walking distance to most hotels. Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas.
