The installations are wonderful! Close to the city center (and with free transport almost anywhere) but not so close that its noisy. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. I must say though that the best thing of this hotel is the staff! They are the friendliest and nicest people we have ever met. Loved sll of them!! Always with a smile

For me as a first time visitor, it felt like I was coming home to family that I haven't seen in a long time. The entire staff is so welcoming and professional. The accommodation itself is so spacious and cozy, even on a rainy day. There are plenty of food options on the 24 hour room service menu, that you never actually have to leave the resort. Srina and Dinah from the wonderful spa, gave us an excellent holistic 90 minute massage. 48 hours at the Sebali almost felt like a whole week. I'm looking forward to my next stay at this amazing and magical place. Terima kasih to the entire team at The Sebali Resort.

great location, standard of hotel/rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Helped me arrange a driver from the airport to the hotel but as the driver was a bit late got offered free breakfast the morning after . very attentive and friendly staff which made me feel welcome :)

The facilities are awesome: the swimming pool, the private beach area, the restaurants, nothing to fault. The food was very good at the breakfast time and also a la carte at dinner time. This resort has exceeded our expectations and is also a great value for money. Small gifts for our anniversary were a nice bonus and very much appreciated. 😊

    I liked Ubud a lot better than Uluwatu and I think it is a very good introduction to Bali. It is extremely chaotic, so having the hotel so quiet and relaxing, slightly tucked away was an excellent combination. We could have stayed longer, but our trip was short so we used Ubud as the first taste of Bali.

    Busy!

    Busy! Lots of restaurants and bars though, shops and massage, beauty places. Narrow pavements like much of Bali. Beach is lovely and wide, quite hard to swim but good for a dip and great for surf lessons.

    Nice and close to Nuanu, which definitely needs more than a day to see. Beautiful beach club and amazing light art installations. Got to hold a bat at Tanah Lot - but don’t get the Gado Gado from the restaurants there.

    Uluwatu is an amazing place!

    Uluwatu is an amazing place! We explored the area by motorbike and taxi, spent our days surfing and relaxing on the beaches, and enjoyed the local restaurants. The people are very friendly, and everything has great quality—it was a truly memorable experience.

    Bali has changed for the worse since we where there last (before Covid). It is no longer the "awesome value" holiday destination. Most (probably all) the accommodation and eateries are owned by ex-pat Aussies and, as a consequence, the prices you pay for eating out and accommodation are "Melbourne" prices - eg. Spice Mantra entrees are around AU$16 plus about 20% in additional taxes. Maybe the business owners are trying to make up for what they lost during Covid??? I think that is why other holiday destinations (such as Vietnam) are becoming more popular.

    The new Icon Bali Shopping Mall is wonderful and opens out at one end onto the Beach. Lovely restaurants and Cafes and also Some High End shops for the Rich Tourists!! However, the road and pedestrian Footpaths out front on the main road ( Jalan Danau Tamblingan) are appalling. Much extra care needs to be taken if walking along this road to explore outside the Mall. A trip hazard at almost every step. I'm not exaggerating!

    Great small island best stay here the longest part of your trip not the shortest, I was here 15 years ago and its hardly changed unlike the rest of Bali. Mushroom beach is defiantly the best place for lazy style island life! If you don't stay in a beach front you may be disappointed with the surroundings and unmade roads around Mushroom bay so stay as close to the beach as possible, Beanbag beach night dining and each beachside restaurant has a small camp fire on the beach at night. Same as everywhere in SE Asia a few steps off the beach and the warungs are 1/2 the price of beachfront food and drinks. Suits couples and families best as there is no nightlife at this end of the island although beachfront has live music most nights! I could spend my entire Bali trip on Lembongan.

Our favourite tattoo shop is Ketut at Black Dragon on Jl padma timur no 7 and our favourite amazing massage place is Rehat day spa underneath the GrandMas hotel. We love bartering with all the local shops and there are heaps of fixed price shops if you just want to shop in peace (like the 100% genuine fake shop opposite Mecure Legian) Sooooooo many food options such as The Deck (yummy satays), The Daily Habit (amazing waffles) or The Pad on Bene (dragonfruit smoothie for the win) and Kenji (Japanese), amazing coffee at Crema or Coffee Melbourne and ice creams at all the little streetside shops.

    Each beach very different,so travelled quite a bit to get to them-lots to see & do away from the beach eg visited the elephant sanctury,released day old turtles on kuta beach.Ubud was a great place to visit-we went to an indonesian dance show at the palace which was amazing,great markets here but be where the traffic here is horrendous!
