I recently stayed at Sebali Resort in Ubud, Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the hosts in the lobby. Special thanks to Epita, Apri, and the young lady who assisted me during my flower pool photoshoot—you all made my stay so much more special. The full-body massage included in my stay, expertly provided by Elo, was a wonderful touch that added to the relaxation. Every request I made was met with exceptional attention to detail, and I never once felt like a bother. The room exceeded my expectations, with a stunning view overlooking the jungle. It truly felt like my own peaceful bubble—exactly the experience I was looking for. If you're after a serene escape, booking a villa is absolutely worth it. The food was another highlight! Every dish I had was incredible, and having breakfast included with my stay was a thoughtful addition that made starting each day effortless. (You can find my full review of the Air Café & Lounge on their TripAdvisor page!) To top it all off, my yoga session with instructor Putu left me feeling more peaceful and centered than when I began. It was a perfect way to round out my stay and really embrace the tranquil environment. Overall, I highly recommend Sebali Resort. The stunning location, attentive staff, and excellent amenities make it an incredible getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing stuff, super helpful and good energy!! We enjoyed the room with a private pool a lot! The private pool was clean and definitely worth it if you're interested in a quick mid-day or late night refreshing! This was by far the best stay we had in Bali. The place is a little get away oasis in Bingin beach, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The service was just incredible. Isma, Chacha and Fina were just the best, took great care of us, and arranged our scooter rentals as well as reservations for the best restaurants in the area. The place itself was an Moroccan inspired resort, we felt really special, great food and drinks. Would highly recommend to anyone that will be travelling to the Bingin area!

It was in an awesome location, and I loved waking up to a balcony facing a verdant garden. The staff were all so kind and genuine, and the breakfast team always helped me start off a great day over a delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the materials/furniture were all of high quality. I also loved the huge bathtub and the yoga studio space upstairs and the pool and garden were so beautifully designed, I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy this gem of a resort!

    Our time in Sideman has been an absolute highlight of our Bali trip. The team at Patal Kikian is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. We loved the scooter tour with our guide, Satria—exploring Sideman and meeting the locals was such a unique and enriching experience. I can’t recommend this place enough!     Ubud is super beautiful- great for nature lovers who want to be in a peaceful environment, the centre is a bit busy though which is expected as that’s where a lot of markets are. A lot of coffee , rice farms , art to explore and an abundance of options for food.

    Busy! Lots of restaurants and bars though, shops and massage, beauty places. Narrow pavements like much of Bali. Beach is lovely and wide, quite hard to swim but good for a dip and great for surf lessons.

    I’ve travelled to Bali a lot over the years but have never stayed in Canggu. It has really top quality restaurants, shops and spas. But I wouldn’t be rushing back the traffic was a terrible and getting Around took so long to get anywhere. The trip to the airport took 2 1/2 hours which was approximately 17 klm from where I was staying and not in peak hour!!!

    Bali has changed for the worse since we where there last (before Covid). It is no longer the "awesome value" holiday destination. Most (probably all) the accommodation and eateries are owned by ex-pat Aussies and, as a consequence, the prices you pay for eating out and accommodation are "Melbourne" prices - eg. Spice Mantra entrees are around AU$16 plus about 20% in additional taxes. Maybe the business owners are trying to make up for what they lost during Covid??? I think that is why other holiday destinations (such as Vietnam) are becoming more popular.

    Uluwatu is an amazing place!

    Uluwatu is an amazing place! We explored the area by motorbike and taxi, spent our days surfing and relaxing on the beaches, and enjoyed the local restaurants. The people are very friendly, and everything has great quality—it was a truly memorable experience.

    The new Icon Bali Shopping Mall is wonderful and opens out at one end onto the Beach. Lovely restaurants and Cafes and also Some High End shops for the Rich Tourists!! However, the road and pedestrian Footpaths out front on the main road ( Jalan Danau Tamblingan) are appalling. Much extra care needs to be taken if walking along this road to explore outside the Mall. A trip hazard at almost every step. I'm not exaggerating!

    Great small island best stay here the longest part of your trip not the shortest, I was here 15 years ago and its hardly changed unlike the rest of Bali. Mushroom beach is defiantly the best place for lazy style island life! If you don't stay in a beach front you may be disappointed with the surroundings and unmade roads around Mushroom bay so stay as close to the beach as possible, Beanbag beach night dining and each beachside restaurant has a small camp fire on the beach at night. Same as everywhere in SE Asia a few steps off the beach and the warungs are 1/2 the price of beachfront food and drinks. Suits couples and families best as there is no nightlife at this end of the island although beachfront has live music most nights! I could spend my entire Bali trip on Lembongan.

    The area had everything a traveller to Bali required. The footpaths could do with some repair but the streets and surrounds to reasonably clean. We visited several bars and eateries and none disappointed although the "Steak Project" was a bit on the expensive side. Plenty of shopping areas and spas for a massage or three.

    Each beach very different,so travelled quite a bit to get to them-lots to see & do away from the beach eg visited the elephant sanctury,released day old turtles on kuta beach.Ubud was a great place to visit-we went to an indonesian dance show at the palace which was amazing,great markets here but be where the traffic here is horrendous!
