The location is in the middle of everywhere. Minimarts is close by and few decent breakfast place and restaurant. We got the loft room which was spacious and complete with kitchen set and microwave included. They gave good breakfast too as part of the room package. The Price was also so affordable and worth more than the space we got.

The facilities are awesome: the swimming pool, the private beach area, the restaurants, nothing to fault. The food was very good at the breakfast time and also a la carte at dinner time. This resort has exceeded our expectations and is also a great value for money. Small gifts for our anniversary were a nice bonus and very much appreciated. 😊

    I liked Ubud a lot better than Uluwatu and I think it is a very good introduction to Bali. It is extremely chaotic, so having the hotel so quiet and relaxing, slightly tucked away was an excellent combination. We could have stayed longer, but our trip was short so we used Ubud as the first taste of Bali.

    Busy! Lots of restaurants and bars though, shops and massage, beauty places. Narrow pavements like much of Bali. Beach is lovely and wide, quite hard to swim but good for a dip and great for surf lessons.

    Seminyak is a lively place but not as crazy as Kuta or Legian. Good places to eat, have a massage, relax on the beach, go to hair salons (if that is your thing) and shop at upmarket shops or down at the flea market where there was also cooking classes going on. Can't beat a few days in Seminyak. Never stay for too long before heading some place else but always good for a few days, normally last few before we head home.

    Uluwatu is an amazing place! We explored the area by motorbike and taxi, spent our days surfing and relaxing on the beaches, and enjoyed the local restaurants. The people are very friendly, and everything has great quality—it was a truly memorable experience.

    Sanur as a location is still relatively handy to the international airport. I recommmend you download the Blue Taxi App which ensures a fixed price option for all of your travel needs where you need a modern, clean and airconditioned travel. Alternatively 'Gojek' motorbike riders are everywhere and are a cheap fun way of getting around. Sanur is like what Kuta/Legian used to be 25 years ago. If you are looking for a laid-back, more chillaxed vibe Sanur could be for you. The 5-star hotels that line the full length of the beach promenade provide a nice respite from the heat, with great freshly caught local seafood and cocktails - to while away your afternoon or evenings. The balinese people are truely genuinely friendly, charming, considerate and respectful people. That is why I have returned to Bali from New Zealand (Zealania Baru) regularly, for over 40 years.

    Great small island best stay here the longest part of your trip not the shortest, I was here 15 years ago and its hardly changed unlike the rest of Bali. Mushroom beach is defiantly the best place for lazy style island life! If you don't stay in a beach front you may be disappointed with the surroundings and unmade roads around Mushroom bay so stay as close to the beach as possible, Beanbag beach night dining and each beachside restaurant has a small camp fire on the beach at night. Same as everywhere in SE Asia a few steps off the beach and the warungs are 1/2 the price of beachfront food and drinks. Suits couples and families best as there is no nightlife at this end of the island although beachfront has live music most nights! I could spend my entire Bali trip on Lembongan.

    Compared to most other tourist areas in Bali Nusa Dua and Benoa is a much quieter and layback location if that is what you are looking for. There are lots of nice restaurants within short walking distance to most hotels. It's not a great place for children because I'd say they'd get bored quickly, but then that's a bonus for those for us who like a quiet location.
