- From $519.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,160 reviewsGet ready for some serious honest review. I usually never really give reviews in detail but this resort deserves my time to write this. Our stay at Patal Kikian Villas was truly beyond expectations from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out. We were warmly welcomed & even received a complimentary upgrade to a private pool villa, which was absolutely amazing. The villa offers a direct, unobstructed view of Bali’s tallest and most majestic volcano, Mount Agung. A truly breathtaking sight that left us speechless! The atmosphere throughout the property is incredibly serene. We found ourselves perfectly content simply relaxing in our villa, whether lounging in the living room or enjoying the private pool, both of which face the stunning Mount Agung. It was so peaceful & beautiful that we barely felt the need to leave. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately the resort was fully booked :( The staff were genuinely friendly & attentive, adding a personal & welcoming touch to our experience. The food from on-site restaurant was consistently delicious, with a great variety to choose from, so much so that we happily dined there for every meal. Every time we went for dinner, we were pleasantly surprised to return & find our room had been tidied up again, which was such a thoughtful detail! We also appreciated the complimentary local appetizers served at the start of each meal, a lovely way to experience more of Balinese flavors. Breakfast was equally satisfying, with generous selections to start the day right. We were also treated to a complimentary 15-minute foot massage during our stay, which added a relaxing touch. The bed was beautifully decorated in a way we had never seen before! And the pillows are so comfy! Overall, this was a superb and memorable experience :) We will definitely return to Patal Kikian Villas every time we visit Bali. Highly recommended!Guest review byMarliana ErlyQatar
- From $494.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 572 reviewsA Perfect Retreat in the Heart of Nature I loved every part of my stay at Padma Resort Ubud. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery. Housekeeping services were provided twice a day, which kept everything spotless and comfortable. The staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and truly go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The level of hospitality is exceptional from check-in to departure, everything felt seamless and personalized. What makes this place truly special is the lush greenery that surrounds the entire resort. It has such a positive effect on your mood and makes the whole experience incredibly peaceful. The infinity pool is stunning and always calm, perfect for relaxing or enjoying the view. The spa was a highlight of my stay beautifully designed, serene, and run by professional massage therapists who really know what they’re doing. It’s a perfect place for detox and unwinding. Lastly, it’s an ideal spot for families with children—quiet, safe, and filled with nature. I highly recommend Padma Ubud for anyone looking to recharge and reconnect with peace and beauty. Staff were very thoughtful they brought a small cake for my daughter first birthday, thank you so much 🙏Guest review byTariqQatar
- From $197.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,737 reviewsThe design, my room, the bathroom, the deck, the view, the lovely cat and a baby kitten that was there was all so sweet and special to me as an animal lover and advocate back in the states! The pool especially the upper pool by the bar was just exquisite and stylish. The staff so attentive and special. I chose to stay on the grounds more than out and about because it was quiet and peaceful here. This was the one establishment I have stayed on my month in Bali that was adult only and as I am not tolerant at all of kids noises and play and sounds omg this Boutique Hotel was such a pleasure being ADULTS only. I am finding all the families with crying kids and unbehaved kids monopolizing pools come here in high season to Bali. Thank you Bali Eco Gravity Hotel for not allowing kids! I so much enjoyed the peacefulness and use of the pool sans kids!!! I loved the cats too that can be found secretly on the property living their lives.Guest review byDharma BumUnited States

I loved how green the scenery was.
I loved how green the scenery was. And there is a lot of art in every form from paintings to gold and silver jewelry. There are so many shops. And the monkey forest is also a highlight around the center of ubud. There are also many international cuisines to choose from such as Japanese, Mexican, and Indian. Don't forget to try an ATV ride or hike up Mount Batur, too. So fun!Guest review byBetty Seifu - 10.0

Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group.
Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group. It has wonderful cafes (Milk and Madu), beach clubs (La Brisa), restaurants (Longtime; Lulu’s), clubs and bistros (Margaret bistro). There’s also yoga, fitness and spas. It ticks all the boxes. Just be mindful when ordering salads, vegetable juice or iced drinks from certain places, as the tap water is not potable. It is also a short distance away from Seminyak (which has a lot of shopping; our kid loves places like Stroberi, Kids à gogo and Candyland).Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Seminyak has so much to see and do, we were not short of places to eat and it was so easy with the family to walk out and find somewhere. Our favourite was Amici as the terrace area is relaxed garden feel and the kids were comfortable so made meal times easier. We loved Kudeta beach club, there was a family day when we went so face painting and lots of activities for them to join in with.Guest review byKetut - 6.0

Uluwatu is much more expensive and luxury compared to the rest of Bali. The place is under a massive construction renovation, there are construction site everywhere so it will be very different in a couple of years. We enjoyed our 4 days there but there is definetly less activities except for luxurious cliff restaurant and beach clubs.Guest review byAliceAustralia - 6.0

Like that the beach was not as congested with human traffic compared to some other spots. Good stretch of walking trail along the beach. The beach itself has a lot of debris, perhaps due to aftermath of flood from week before. Wish there is more selection of local food. The Sidhu night market offers quite limited local food.Guest review byTuanUnited States - 6.0

Unfortunately , NP seems to have far too many visitors for what the road infrastructure can handle . The roads to all the local sightseeing hotspots are not wide enough for oncoming vehicle to pass each other without driving on the shoulder of the road ( if it exists ) and constantly causing further damage ,. The roads surfaced are very badly broken a terribly pot- holed . Vehicle journeys to the popular destinations take an inordinately long time with traffic banked up while cars try to pass each other when they can . On the plus ; the restaurants and beach clubs and bars serve excellent food and live music nightly was easy to find . And entertaining . The coastline scenery is fantastic . Itis why so many people make trip . The fast ferry services from Sanur to NP are very good and only 30 minutes .Guest review byPhilbobagginsAustralia - 10.0
We liked the central location in Legian.
We liked the central location in Legian. Hawkers should not attend hotel, this is rest time from shopping and bartering. Pad on Bene was our favourite place to eat anytime. Good food.Fat Tony’s burgers great. Water BOM amazing, our son went 4 times during our stay with great water slides. Traffic congestion to Changu and Ubud was horrendous. Took 2 hours for such a small distance.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Love at first sight ten years ago.
Love at first sight ten years ago. Far away from all huzzle and buzz of Southern Bali, Kuta/ Seminyak, Denpasar-areas that were surprisingly flooded this very time. so we were away from rain and catastrophies, happily exploring the new roads, watching Saraswati processions, eating us through the islands many warungs and resturants. Really cosy and fun stay, Dream bech is a must-do!Guest review byMikael LauriDenmark - 4.0
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area.
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area. It was not for us. The area is dominated by large resorts and the main activities centre around surfing, or hanging out in a pricey resort/bar, or perhaps viewing artifical tourist sights. Admittedly some resorts are very nice and have nice views but it's not really my style of holiday to spend several hundred dollars to lounge on a sunbed on the coast. There are plenty of higher end places to eat in this area, but I didn't go to Indonesia to eat western food. The Indonesian options feel very samey and were better in other areas with more Indonesian diners. Even Ubud with its hordes of people felt more authentically like Bali than this area does. In all, if you want a resort style holiday or are a wealthy surfer then this is the area for you. If you want to mosey around and get a feel for Bali it is not. For other watersports, it would be better to go north e.g. for diving/snorkelling. Or go to another island altogether.Guest review byAlexanderNew Zealand
