Beautiful pools, delicious and ample assortment at breakfast and beautiful views from the beach. Whole resort was kept immaculately. Great location, great boardwalk for walking. People did not really know about Sanur, when talking about Bali. This resorts and it's location really were ideal if you are not looking for an over busy and commercialized stay. If Kuta, Legian, Seminyak or Dusa Nua are for you, this resort is not. The location was very central to access to Ubud and also to Kuta and surrounding areas. If you want a beautiful resort away from alot of a busy city, this is it. It is super relaxing and walking distance to many shops and restaurants, while not being overly commercial. Shops and many services are close by. Lots of choices for massages and getting your nails done. I would suggest checking out the nail polish selection and services closely in the area. Sanur as a location is still relatively handy to the international airport. I recommmend you download the Blue Taxi App which ensures a fixed price option for all of your travel needs where you need a modern, clean and airconditioned travel. Alternatively 'Gojek' motorbike riders are everywhere and are a cheap fun way of getting around. Sanur is like what Kuta/Legian used to be 25 years ago. If you are looking for a laid-back, more chillaxed vibe Sanur could be for you. The 5-star hotels that line the full length of the beach promenade provide a nice respite from the heat, with great freshly caught local seafood and cocktails - to while away your afternoon or evenings. The balinese people are truely genuinely friendly, charming, considerate and respectful people. Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.
Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. Sanur like other places in Bali is busy, but the new Icon shopping centre has everything one needs, of course there is still Arte Sedana the traditional balinese shop, with the Peri Plus Bookstore. Absolutely loved Denpasar, you felt that you were amongst the local of Bali and it was nice to see this part of Bali.
