The resort itself is very spacious, private and quiet, being walking distance to sunset point and the main restaurants in town but quiet enough not to hear the party music at night. It is a 15 minute walk from the main port which was very manageable on foot. The resort had generous (free) inclusions, including free snorkel gear (just make sure you reserve it early in the day), free bikes (same), free towels to use by the pool as well as to take out of the resort for the beach. Breakfast was delicious and diverse, as was the room service menu, which included local Indonesian dishes as well as more Western style dishes. The rooms and grounds were immaculately kept, cleaned daily, with an extra turn-down service as well. Note that the bathrooms are outdoors, though in a private Courtyard with a lovely garden. Rooms are spacious, comfortably air-conditioned and include lots of thoughtful extras (mosquito repellant, free filtered water to drink). We also opted for the in-room massage which was very relaxing and decently priced. The staff were approachable, professional and very helpful. We also stayed at Pearl of Trawangan for one night and far preferred Pondok Santi Estate. Pondok Santi Estate is worth every dollar and I hope we get to go back one day!Guest review byAAustralia

You can even get breakfast delivered right to your villa, or try the floating breakfast in the pool, which was not only delicious but also perfect for photos! Getting around the island was super easy with the free bicycles they provide. It’s such a nice way to explore and get to the beach. It’s a small island and you can walk or cycle it. There’s only horse drawn taxis or electric scooters and bicycles. The island has everything from quiet to party and great food. The beaches are lovely and we swam and snorkelled everyday. Saw turtles numerous times from the hotel beach as well as on group and personal trips which are really reasonable. The perfect island for feeling the peaceful island vibes of gilli and a great spot for fresh fish grill food on the beaches and many more great diverse restaurants which will not disappoint!! There are also plenty of amazing warungs to eat local food. The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. If you are over 35, or a couple, this island may not be for...
If you are over 35, or a couple, this island may not be for you. Gili T is more for partying and Instagram people. The centre of the village is just crammed with horse carts, ebikes, bicycles and people. It is not really very relaxing to stroll around. Prices are higher than everywhere else (e.g. Bali or Gili A). At night it is just a mass of people drinking shots, and partying hard. EVERYONE is there to take pictures of themselves. So there are all these strange activities, like a sunrise paddleboard tour that lasts about 15 minutes (sole purpose is to take photos) or sunset horseback riding that takes 10-15 minutes (sole purpose is to take photos). No one hangs out and just vibes - it's all about the photos. I am also aware that Gili T is a muslim island and the swim suits that women were wearing were just indecent. I just wonder what the locals think about it. But the island itself, the diving, the snorkeling, the turtles are all great. The locals are fun and very cool. Honestly, there is nothing that can be done about the tourists... everyone is obsessed with photographing themselves these days and showing off their bare bottom.Guest review byMaryAustralia - 10.0
