Yes, indeed - our room was on the 83rd floor, while the bar & restaurant are on the 90th floor! That's truly a lifetime experience. Additionally, our room was perfectly comfortable and spotlessly clean. A very professional and kind staff made us feel very welcome at all time. Love it!

The location is more than perfect. Close to Borobudur temple. The temple is about a 15-minute bike ride from the villa. They have push bikes that can be used for free by the guests. The villa is also about 15 minutes walk from the traditional market. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel, which was fantastic.

Breakfast Buffet ist really huge and very delicious, also live cooking stations available- buffet is Western and Asian style. The rooms are spacious and the garden and Pool area is designed with much love for Detail- the panoramic view especially in the mornings and evenings to Mt. Merapi are one of the Highlights! In the evening you have the possibility to get dinner Buffet- its just great and very delicious. We felt really at home and the staff was helpful in every Situation - we will come again :)

The pool is amazing, very long and cleaned every day. For those who like long pools, will be very entertained because the length of the pool is more than 50m. Shopping and modern.

Shopping and modern. Jakarta does not make it to most people’s bucket lists but it really is a great city to visit. Friendly people, great food and very economical. It is a very large city and there’s heaps to see. The only down side I would say is that there is a huge divide between the people who have and and the people who don’t🙁

The best part of Bandung is the mountains outside of Bandung. The White crater lake, tea plantations, hot springs, picking strawberries As it was a long weekend the museums were closed, but i have heard that they are good.

Mount Merapi (you can take a jeep to the summit, but I didn't), Borobudur, and Prambanan Temple are worth a visit, although the entrance fee is quite high for Asia. Maliobor Street is a must-see. Kotagede with its narrow streets, as well as the water castle and the Sultan's Palace, should be on your to-do list. Tebing Breksi might be nice in the dark, but otherwise skip it. I skipped the sights that required a drive of over 1.5 hours (Hutan Pinus Pengger, Jomblang Cave, Timang Beach, Watu Giring). The roads in Indonesia aren't that good. The Central Air Force Museum Dirgantara Mandala required an invitation, which, of course, I didn't have. Strange.

My last visit to Surabaya was about 10 years ago.

My last visit to Surabaya was about 10 years ago. The city had transformed to be nicer and cleaner. Shopping malls were excellent now, cleaner. Keep it up. Surprisingly bluebird taxis were still available, but driver's honesty was questionable at times (meter rates).

Everything is perfect but only one thing that I have really uncomfortable. That is internet connection !!!!! I can not fully watch YouTube or Netflix bt my laptop. Wifi signal continously has drorpped so it is very difficult to watch any streaming. Even I have to access to my company web for working. Something is happened. I can not work because very low level of internet connection and internet speed. I didn't have any internet issue when I was in Jakarta and Borgor during similar times (I was in jakarta and borgor one week ago) If you have to do something with internet, I can not recommend this hotel. It is very very terribles

Even if you only think of it as an airport transit station,...

Even if you only think of it as an airport transit station, you should at least be able to wash and shower, but it doesn't. The shower head, which is fixed to the wall and has a lot of rust, barely works.

A nice city with outdoors options for entertainment. A magnificent botanical garden. eating, shopping and facilities, gyms and wellness centers. Nice wide roads with lovely architecture and vegetation. Close by the volcanos and thee plantations ideal for day trips.

Authentic introduction to a broad Javanese experience from traditional markets to modern shopping malls. Ancient palaces , streets packed with carts and traders , a look into the past. Very safe with smiles and welcomes everywhere . Truly lovely people , helpful and kind, anyone we came into contact with, staff, shop keepers, drivers - whatever - were overwhelmingly polite and caring with manners and curtesy . Plenty to see in the area. A day trip to Prambanan a pleasant 90 minutes through interesting landscape.

Malang was definitely an amazing experience. we walked downtown and visited the heritage village, what an amazing place!! we also went to this beautiful restaurant called ( SaigonSan ) which looks like a temple form the inside . the food is really good and unexpectedly affordable. and of course would recommend the Bromo, Ejin and Tumpak sewu tours . otally worth it especially the waterfalls

ijen is pretty much overrated, it's a nice 6-hour-ish hike with above medium difficulty, the flame is underwhelming which is slightly bigger than a camp fire and the crater? go to Bromo instead. With the current volcano incident related to the Brazilian tourist, I am more convinced that people should be aware of tour guide's quality and training in East Java. Upon reading some brief information about traveling to Ijen, I found to mandatory in getting a guide, I went there alone and caught weird looks from other guides, some avoided my interactions when they found out I was alone, some others was good and paying attention.
