The resort is in a quiet location situated by the beach with the backdrop of the hills and rice paddy fields. The staff were amazing, friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and spacious. There are 2 pools one by the restaurant set in the garden and the other is by the beach. There is plenty of parking for cars and scooters. You can hire surf boards and bikes to get around.

Ayumar Homestay Medewi is located in the Medewi district of Pulukan, and is a 15-minute walk from Yeh Sumbul Beach.

A beautiful hotel, with four buildings set within a serene little garden oasis, with a shared kitchen and pool, all just a short drive from the beach and sea. The owners and staff were lovely, and made our stay perfect, helping with motorbike rental and laundry. Surfboard rental is also available. We stayed in both the wooden bungalow and the Deluxe Double Room, and we found both perfectly charming. The bungalow was less sound proof, but the rustic design was beautiful, and the open bathroom yields a view of stars on clear nights. (The garden does as well. Medewi has beautifully dark night skies.) The deluxe double room was beautiful and modern in design, with a great view of the garden. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the WiFi was strong throughout. We greatly enjoyed (and extended) our stay, and would love to come again. We can't recommend more highly!

Umadewi’s staff and service is the best I’ve experienced living in Bali. All staff, from front desk and restaurant to groundskeepers and housekeeping are most welcoming. The property and rooms are immaculate and if you’re in Medewi to surf (or just watch) the location is unbeatable. On a side note, my family all agree the beef rendang is one of the best we’ve had living in Bali.

Enjoying beachfront location, Bombora Medewi is set in Medewi in the Bali Region. Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or enjoy the on-site restaurant.

Do not expected a luxury stay at this hotel. I chosed this hotel for overnight stay because close to ferry jetty. I travel from Ngurah Rai Airport and arrived 10 mins past midnight. Staff were there and greet my arrival with smile even though already past midnight. Very good hotel. Good staf. Nice stay. Clean room and easy access to ferry terminal to cross to Ketapang from Gilimanuk. Grab car easily can get from this hotel. Very quite in the morning because hotel location about 500m from the busy main road. Very greenery environment. So fresh.
