Tuk Tuk is mainly where beginner tourists stay, just like me. Tuk Tuk has many restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, homestays and guesthouses. Those are located along the main road at Tuk Tuk as well. If you do not want to spend on cafes and restaurants, no worries, there are convenient stores and shops along the main road. Very simple. But I would suggest people go to the restaurant and eat their local cuisines and seafood for the better. The only downside is the main road of Tuk Tuk is very troublesome and tough to walk and cycle as it is very steep going up and down. It is not a road that is stable. I would recommend people take a motorbike, scooter or car to travel along the main road.Guest review byRachelSingapore - 8.0

The scene there was beautiful and breath-taking. The whole of Samosir will likely only take you about 3-4 days to finish visiting if you have transport. However, my partner and I were there for 8 days and took our time walking around and relaxing. We do believe we could have shifted accommodations to another part of Samosir though.Guest review byYeo
