Donegal is a beautiful county and the people go to great effort to ensure that visitors have a good experience. Unfortunately the inclement weather and constant mist cannot be controlled. This of course might be the attraction for some visitors. Good food available in bars throughout the county.Guest review byBredaIreland - 10.0

The view is not great from the rooms but very centrally located Uber charged us 20euro return into the centre maybe if we asked the hotel reception a local can may have been cheaper as it was only a few minutes walk but we had mobility issuesGuest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives...
Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives during the summer. You could meet anyone from anywhere here. But most importantly all are made to feel so welcome by the general community not just the hoteliers and gift shop owners. I accidentally left my rear passenger door actually open all night outside the Bank House and not a thing was touched!!! This coming from someone who has been a victim of a locked car theft in my own driveway in Loughlinstown Co Dublin….Guest review byRuthIreland - 8.0

Next time we go to Buncrana we shall enjoy going on the ferry. We will enjoy looking inside the large household store on the main street and we shall try to time it so that we can enjoy some of the many musical festivalsGuest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We heard Ardara was a good base to travel around Donegal.
We heard Ardara was a good base to travel around Donegal. Our first night we went to the local pub and ended up staying longer than planned. Live music and got chatting to some lovely local people. It’s a fairly small town. We self-catered so can’t comment on places to eat.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The spa was the best.
The spa was the best. Booking treatments before hand is needed but the facial was amazing as were the massages. The food was lovely in the hotel restaurant, we were not disappointed. When wanting to try something new we walked 5min to Nancys Barn for even more gorgeous food. Beach was in walking distance with a lovely view and nice walking path.Guest review byMollyIreland - 8.0

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more livelyGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Great base for travelling around.
Great base for travelling around. Visited Slieve League, Assaranacha Falls, Mahera beach and caves, the Glengesh Pass, glen columcille, The Rusty Mackerel and The Boathouse in Killybegs, Donegal Town and The smugglers creek in Rossnowlagh . So we covered a lot of ground!!Guest review byJoanIreland - 10.0

Dunfanaghy is a beautiful part of Co Donegal with lots to do. The village itself has lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. We loved our walk through Lurgabrack nature reserve to Tramore Beach, one of the best beaches we have ever been too! Hornhead is a fabulous scenic drive and a trip to Marble Hill beach and Ards forest park are also worth a visit.Guest review byLyndseyUnited Kingdom
