Limerick was somewhere I have wanted to visit, for no real reason. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend it or return myself. Everyone was really nice ad the town is no reflection on them. From Google a highlight was a view of the town from a bridge!! If that is the highlight it is really struggling. The best thing about that bridge was it was the exit road out of town. Sorry Limerick. Maybe I missed something so this could be an unfair review.Guest review bySpencerUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The Hosts were an absolute pleasure.
The Hosts were an absolute pleasure. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The location was a perfect walking distance to town. Breakfast was excellent and on-site parking was free and convenient, I highly recommend this Inn.Guest review byMarinoUnited States - 8.0

Host was very kind, welcoming, had a lovely country feel all round, other than the bathroom which was modern, bed was very comfortable for my husband and I, breakfast was lovely you do have a choice of full Irish breakfast, or vegan, village is about 15 min walk down the road, but the walk is lovely with the view,Guest review byletteUnited Kingdom - 4.0
New Castle West is not very interesting...
New Castle West is not very interesting... We spent one night on our way to the Cliffs of Moher and in retrospect I wish we had driven further. The hotel is kinda old, the bathroom felt like an hospital bathroom. No mini bar or fridge in the room. Very spacious room with spare furniture - they had the room to add a cabinet with fridge... Breakfast was good tho.Guest review byPhilippeUnited States - 10.0

Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run). There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches. its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.Guest review byPatsyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
It was quiet. No restaurant was a drawback.
It was quiet. No restaurant was a drawback. We went into Tarbert on recommendation of proprietor but The Swanky in Tarbert was nothing to write home about. The Knight's Walk nearby was worth doing.Guest review byMichaelIreland - 10.0

Very friendly people who gave us lots of information about walking and even dropped us carless women at the start of the walk in Ballyhoura and collected us without charging us anything. All the archeological sites and beautiful churches were a unexpected bonus.Guest review byToppenNetherlands - 8.0

Clancy's pub and restaurant provided good range on menu for breakfast, lunch and supper. The pub contains display of owner's nephew's international referee neck ties in recognition of refereeing multiple international rugby matches including the first Rugby World Cup. Also rare framed signed copy by participants of the North of Ireland Good Friday Peace Agreement. Proprietor's father, Jack, is a mine of information about people and Bruff including the old RIC Barracks which had a cellar, now filled in but then had a tunnel to escape through if needed. The village itself is small but with picturesque surroundings and near to Lough Gur the important Archaeological site stretching back over 6,000 years with well presented Visitor CentreGuest review byNicholasIreland - 10.0

Limerick is a lovely city with the river Shannon running through it. It is lovely to stroll by the river or sit on one of the many benches and have a coffee. There's lots of shops, bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries to visit and of course King John's Castle For fans of Frank McCourt's wonderful Angela's Ashes, it's lovely to visit and see where the young Frank grew upGuest review bygenny77Ireland - 10.0

Tourists can't enter Adare Manor unless they stay overnights or dine at two different restaurants. We booked breakfasts and then walked around to enjoy the beautiful scenery and atmosphere inside. It was a fantastic morning in Adare.Guest review byShu Jyun HsuUnited Kingdom
