An interesting, welcoming town.
An interesting, welcoming town. Some fantastic beaches nearby. The Irish Heritage Museum is close to the Whitford House Hotel and well worth a visit - lots to see, allow plenty of time. Johnston Castle and Tintern Abbey are among the many fascinating places to visit.Guest review bySusan - 8.0

Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.Guest review byJOHNUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Quaint and picturesque town on the pleasant river Slaney steeped in Irish History. Enniscorthy was the scene of the 1798 rebellion where the united Irishmen took their last stand on the summit of Vinegar hill overlooking the town. The Castle and the 1798 visitors centre are worth a visit if you are interested in history as is the Father Murphy centre at Boolavogue. Nice beaches close by, greyhound racing, and traditional Irish pubs which are good for a sing song! Enjoy!Guest review bySEANUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The cleanliness is superb.
The cleanliness is superb. The only downside is we dont have a private toilet/ shower room. Maybe if you travel with group this is okay because you dont mind sharing with your group. We have kids so its kinda difficult when we dont have our private toilet. It was my fault because i didnt read that the toilet facilities are sharedGuest review byKathleenUnited Arab Emirates - 4.0
Disappointing town, visited early evening.
Disappointing town, visited early evening. Not much of a choice of restaurants, bars and cafe. Parking not easy. We decide not to return the following day to visit Immigration/famine ship. The rest of Ireland: a fab country with beautiful countryside, towns and villages and so well kept and maintained. Best of all it's people - very warm and friendly.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar.
Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar. N8ce music at bar. Lovely atmosphere throughout facility. One blip was, a wet towel left by previous guests was still hanging on hook behind bathroom door. Cleaning staff need to check the hooks behind doors when cleaning bathroom area. Didn't upset me really. The overall stay was top class and I will be returning.Guest review byPATRICK JIreland - 8.0

Two great bars Molloys and Nevilles Bar, good drinks, great hospitality. The Giorgio's evening meal for a party of 9 was amazing value for money. the Thai restaurant was great food, fantastic service, excellent value for money. There is a Londis, a pharmacist, the people are relly welcoming and friendly. Fethard o Sea is a good base to explore the Hook Peninsula, Kilmore Quay *eat at Mary Barry's Fish restaurant, (you will not be disappointed, essential to book), Tramore for the summer races festival, the ferry across the estuary from Passageway East is good. A car is essential to get around. There is no light pollution at night you can see the stars in the night sky on a clear night. If you're after a week away for somewhere a little remote, but are prepared to travel upto an hour, Wexford, Tramore, Duncannon are well within reach. The roads are quiet. Eating out, hospitality and value for money are in abundance.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Duncannon is a beautiful village on the South Coast with a beautiful sandy beach. It is ideally located to explore the area with both Waterford and Wexford only a short drive away. Hook Lighthouse is 20 minutes away by car and is a must for anyone visiting the area.Guest review byFr SeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wexford is situated seaside.
Wexford is situated seaside. It has a beautiful port that is several hundred feet wide and lends itself to many kinds of group activities. It's perfect for walking and looking landward to the colorful town built on a hillside. The meandering streets throughout the town are perfect for walking and enjoying the many beautiful buildings. Restaurants and cafes abound along every street.Guest review byThomasUnited States
