The property was beautifully set across the street from the beach. The staff was so nice, helpful with questions we had, shared personal stories with us, we felt very welcomed. Restaurants were within walking distance.

Good location, nice grounds, good access to a footpath and beach. Excellent choices at breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of choices for lunch / dinner. Plenty of storage space in room for clothes. Water fountain on each floor and a bottle in your room so you could collect water to have in your room.

EVERYTHING! We stayed at the Martello during our week long vacation in Ireland & we could not have been happier. The room was modern but we felt like we were actually IN Ireland. The restaurant/bar was amazing (both food & beverages) and the staff were BEYOND astonishing! Firefly was an excellent hotel right on main street, with the most comfortable beds of our entire 4 week trip through Europe! The rooms had all the comforts you needed, they were quiet, and the check in process was a breeze. We have already recommended this to other friends and family in Ireland if they want a weekend away in Bray.
