Great hotel, extremely friendly staff particularly at the reception desk. Since we were staying during the Rose of Tralee Festival, they called us in advance to inform us about it (not every hotel would have done it!).Great food and drinks at Alfie's. Highly recommended!

This is magnificent hotel where you want for nothing! The staff, Maura and Lorraine were so helpful. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We were let down on our previous booking elsewhere and they welcomed us and made a very stressful situation into a positive one.

This place was exceptional! Newly opened and the bedrooms and suites are pure luxury. Amazing beds and shower. The decor is so different and classy. The location is fantastic in the centre of town. We strolled across the road for dinner after a pre drink in the cellar wine bar (in the premises) and returned for a post dinner drinks. The atmosphere was brilliant too. Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was included too and lots of choice and really tasty. We loved the sweets!

Killarney is a beautiful place , surrounded by water and forests. Lots of history to explore. The Tourist information office is full of ideas and leaflets as to what to do and see. Both the bus station and the train station are nearby , allowing you to see further afield if wanted. There are lots of places to eat and the quality of food is excellent. The Hop on Hop of bus takes you to many of the sights but there is a far amount of walking to do! Taxi s are easily found and the prices are very reasonable. Don't forget to check out the Killarney Duck shop- an experience all on its own!

Dingle is a beautiful place.

Dingle is a beautiful place. There was much to see in the surrounding areas and it is close enough to enjoy a bit of sightseeing, yet far enough to enjoy a slower more relaxed atmosphere after a busy day. I would love to see the area in the spring.

I’ve hardly missed a yearly trip to Tralee in over 40 years I’ve been to every attraction in Tralee and surrounding areas nowadays I take a more leisurely approach a few pints meet up with longtime mates and generally have a good time! Usually visit Sean ogs, corner bar, mall bar, greyhound bar ,the huddle bar etc!and for the best and freshest fish on the planet quinnauls near the square!

Sneem is one of the most picturesque villages in all Ireland, two compact squares divided by the Sneem River. Excellent pubs are D. O'Shea's, Murphy's and Riney's. Had good quality evening meals in D. O'Shea's Pub and the Sneem Hotel. The area is a walker's paradise, whether easy, self-guided walk along the Kerry Way, or two looped, way-marked trails, or more adventurous hill-walking in the high mountains. For the latter, contact Mountain Leader Fergal in Alaind Lodges for guided walks.

It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!

Lots to do and see!

Lots to do and see! If thing I would suggest if it's raining or cloudy at all don't go to sea!! We went to the Skelligs. €295 for 5 of us, couldn't see much! Disappointing to say the least! The Skellig Museum on Valentia island across the bridge was surprisingly very good. It looks funny outside & we didn't rate it much! The back of it is what you see first! The take away on the pier was disappointing. Fish & chips wasn't what you'd think it would be beside the sea. The food in both local pubs fabulous. Best to book the Moorings for evening meals. It's very busy. Kerry cliffs well worth seeing also.

We went primarily to tour the area including Ballybunion. Also for the Lartigue Monorail and museum in Listowel. A gem, and an important piece of transport heritage that is still relatively unknown in the UK. Great visit. The town is lively with good music in the pubs (especially Christy's). Lovely place!
