Great place plenty to do and go see titanic experience was fantastic public transport was great and easy to use little Italian nearby called sporanza served really tasty meals at great prices ulster museum is a must for a visit
Not the most attractive of cities. However the friendly welcome of the people was the most beautiful experience of the entire holiday. I would highly recommend the Ulster Museum and a guided taxi tour of the falls road etc Our guide Nigel was brilliant his knowledge of the Troubles was second to none. Can i also suggest where ever you eat do try the wheaten bread scummy!
So much to see. We took a 2-1/2 hour walking tour and saw more than expected but felt there was still so much more we could've seen (but only had one full day)--always a next time! Would highly recommend Ulster Museum; it's outstanding and we only had about an hour to explore this incredible place.
We only had an afternoon to see and do. We chose the Ulster Museum which is free! Execellent display of the "Troubles" in Ireland. Interesting for those of us who only heard about it on the news across the pond. Ate at a great Fish & Chips place across the street from the Crescent Hotel. Public transportation is easy to navigate and quite convenient. Wish we had more time to explore and experience more of what Belfast has to offer. Need to plan to stay longer next time.
Belfast is my second home. Everytime I visit, I never want to leave. I love Hudson's chicken wings. Goodfella's for pizza, and getting a chippy in the middle of the night. I love three pound movies on tuesdays. I love Lavery's bar and their comedy nights. I love walking around town and just looking at the people. I love Shine nights for nights out or wetherspoons or madison's when you want a chill bar experience. I love just sitting and hanging out at friend's houses. If you are a tourist, visit the dome in Victoria square, go to the Ulster museum, visit where the titanic was built, take the bus or cab tour so you can see the wall of murals and go out at night.
It can be a little dingy in places, but there are a lot of interesting things to see and do. Transport is pretty good between buses and suburban rail. Between late opening shops and restaurants, it's not hard to find somewhere to eat. My favourite places to visit were Queen's University, the Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum and the Linen Hall Library.
We enjoyed exploring the Ulster American Folk Park. It is an easy drive for a day trip to Belfast.
A smart city. Great for shopping if that's that's what you want, but lovely side streets with good independent shops and cafes too. Lots of history, obviously. Good to go to the Titanic exhibition, to walk up Shankill Road and Falls Road and visit the Peace Wall. Queens University impressive, St George's market great. My favourite is the botanic gardens and the Ulster museum. Easy to get out to the coast too
Clean, friendly felt comfortable in the city Titanic, ulster museum On & off bus great way to see city and for further destinations Enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel
Belfast and the surrounding area was fantastic even in the wet winter weather. Small enough to walk with many places to visit including the Ulster museum, Titanic Quarter and HMS Caroline. Coast was stunning.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They were certainly dedicated to making sure we had a wonderful stay in Belfast. Our room was larger than many European hotel and nicely furnished. The hotel is in walking distance of a number of great restaurants and not far from the Ulster museum and botanical garden. We would stay here again. Comfortable bed.

The location was very good. We walked to the Ulster Museum and to a couple very good restaurants. This is NOT downtown but in a nice area which is close to Queens college so there are hipper restaurants and coffee shops. Some good shopping. Big room, nice breakfast and nice staff. Parking is a plus. Don't miss the Ulster museum, a local gem.

We had a wonderful stay for two nights at this property. Denise was a wonderful host, very friendly and approachable and excellent for recommending things to do and places to eat. We had an Ulster fry both mornings and breakfast was wonderful! The room was beautiful, cozy and spotlessly clean. We'll definitely be back!

The McKays were very friendly and helpful hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had the Ulster Fry for breakfast ... very good. We need decaf coffee so they went out and purchased some just for us ... very kind. We enjoyed talking with them in the evening. I'd certainly recommend this B&B.

Good location between the university quarter and the city center. Shops and restaurant are just round the corner at your convenience. The breakfast is freshly cooked each morning, there isn't a big choice but it's really good if you like it the ulster way! Staff is kind and friendly.

Excellent location to explore mid Ulster, while being a very tranquil rural location only a few minutes from town (Magherafelt). Super clean and spacious accomodation, very friendly and helpful host in Ann, would definitely go back.

Friendly welcome in a small ulster town. Loads of parking and a warm hearth ready for us when we came. There were plenty of towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning products. Two electric showers, and a bath.

Lovely Ulster fry. A very good value stay and the hotel exceeded our expectations for the price paid. Despite proximity to the motorway, it was very quiet with a nice rural feel and nice views.

This was the best hotel I have ever been in smart, chic, & the staff were second to none. We were knocked out by the decor & style. The guys at the desk were more than willing, to help us with any type of inquiry we had & never let us down , pointing us in the proper direction , that made our evenings, nights to remember. I will recommend the europa to all my friends & family & knowing their in safe hands for service & enjoyment with the europa. Europa the best of northern Ireland.
