Great hotel, extremely friendly staff particularly at the reception desk. Since we were staying during the Rose of Tralee Festival, they called us in advance to inform us about it (not every hotel would have done it!).Great food and drinks at Alfie's. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was exceedingly good and well prepared. Everyone was very hardworking and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our luggage was escorted promptly to our rooms, and we received a complimentary Kingsley chocolate bar. Darren in the dining area was awesome and informative with the sights around Cork and Kinsale. The rooms were gorgeous and clean with plenty of space for me and my fiancee's luggage. We had the room with the river view and it was most delightful to wake up in the morning and see outside the windows. The bathroom was very accommodating with plenty of great smelling soaps and we loved the tub! The thermostat was on point and kept us cozy as well as the beds. Plenty of parking available as well which was a plus! Of course, we treated ourselves to the spa center on the first floor and it was so spectacular and relaxing! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting Cork!

What was not to love, from the moment we drove in we were treated like royalty. Your concierge, reception and dining room team were simply the best. They were all.just so lovely and the hotel itself truly amazing! The bed was the most comfortable we have had on our 6 weeks of travelling Europe, the room so spacious. This was absolutely magical. The area from the outside looks like nothing special so I was worried and then, as soon as we entered, gorgeous luxury tents surrounded by nature, beautiful sauna to rent with view to a river. The tents are more like little wood houses, beautifully decorated, kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner. Bathroom and shower are very functional. Everything was perfect.

You have to check out the Latin district and market square. We ate at dough bros and our pizza was delicious! If you have kids(or are just fun and whimsical yourself) they have some carnival rides in the square. We rode the ferris wheel and the merry go round and it was a lot of fun.

Cork itself was a great experience.

Cork itself was a great experience. The city has a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and everything is easy to reach. It isn’t overly populated, the air feels clean, and there’s plenty of space to move around without the stress of a crowded city. It’s vibrant without being overwhelming, offering lots to see and do while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The only thing to be aware of is that winters can feel quite cold and moist, so good layers are a must.

Excellent place to visit!

Excellent place to visit! I recommend staying for more than 2 days. You can explore the city in one day, do the Ring of Kerry on another, and reserve 2 or more days to explore the Ring of Beara. Also, set aside a day for Killarney Park. There’s so much to see and do, so plan carefully and have a great time!

We were just passing through Limerick, but I noted a few key points: in the evening it is difficult to have dinner after 9 PM, so you have to settle for fast food. Also, it seemed to me that Limerick is less beautiful than other Irish cities, even though it is located on the River Shannon.

One of my favourite Irish cities - Sligo has it all.

One of my favourite Irish cities - Sligo has it all. Great shops and event spaces including a great theatre and a sizeable event arena. The pubs are brilliant and offer entertainment year round. The city centre is very walkable and everything you need is close by. The restaurants on offer are among the best in Ireland including top spots like Eala Bhán and Hooked, locally owned and sourcing local high quality produce.

A very clean, and well kept town. Great selection of shops, restaurants and bars. People in the shops, restaurants and bars were very welcoming and friendly. Westport is a lovely town to walk around. We enjoyed our 3 days, walking, shopping, eating out as well as the entertainment/music in the bars too! Westport is a great place to visit, we also took a drive down to the harbour annd did had a walkabout in the harbour area, and we went to Achill Island too!
