But what truly makes this resort so special are the people who manage and run it. If you let them, they will become your family away from home. I travel a lot and its so nice to have a family now in Goa. I hope you have the opportunity to meet some of the great staff at The Astor, and I’d like to mention a few of them here. From Joseph who seems to be everywhere in service, to head chef and creator of all things delicious Divyanshi along with her chef Dave, as well as Suhas the restaurant manager, bartenders Nitesh and Survita, servers Zeenith, Sachin, as well as Pooja up front, all the way to the management, Anuj ,Shailendra, Mr Ganguly and the General Manager Mr Gupta, they are all wonderful people! You cannot go wrong with The Astor!

    We liked everything about our stay, the hospitality, the care and the professionalism of the staffs are top notch. We went there for our babymoon and they took care of every little thing starting from easy accessibility to the room, the food and they also gave a maternity pillow. They also decorated my room, gifted me bouquet and had a personal musician to sing for me. Special mention to Priya who kept checking if I need anything and also on my wellbeing. Overall, it was the best babymoon.

    Buzzing place for party goers. amazing shacks offering good food and live music. My favourite was Fisherman's Cove. Pretty close to the party circle like Baga and other beaches. Very close to Tito's lane the most happening sport approx 3-4 kms away. Best way to commute would be to take a bike. But beware if you are drinking and driving. No tuk tuks etc. The city thrives only on Taxis which are pretty costly. you can shop amazing dresses, party wears in the 10x10 shops across the road. Please do buy coasters and hot plates without fail.

No water at morning time .. need to all that person to have water in the bath room.... ITs the worst room ..... and service ....no body available at reception for any help / support.     It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

    Panaji was a nice stopover for 3 nights before hitting the beaches. Very relaxed city and easy to get around whether by taxi or by foot. Interesting buildings showing Portuguese influence, and interesting places to visit including the fish market, park along the river and local markets.

    Palolem is a great place to base yourself for food, other beaches, backwaters, dolphon spotting , and for travelling around to waterfalls spice farm nature resevres etc. its just over 1.5 hours from the airport so if you have an early flight in or out I'd suggest a night staying on Bogmalo beach

    Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. It's a peaceful retreat with a serene beachfront location, perfect for anyone looking to get away from noise and the digital world. The home-style food was delicious, and the setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are huge. A key thing to note is that the road to the hotel is very narrow and can be difficult to drive on in the evening. We highly recommend planning your travel to arrive in daylight.

    Wonderful being in the Dalia house with lovely stuffs, Always ready to help and be there to make sure you are feeling well and like home, thanks to hussain for making our stay amazing. Definitely recommended. Near to beach less then a min walk right in market centre of the city,
