I was upgraded to a suite by Rajnish. He was polite and professional and shared all the options possible for any question I had. The duty Manager was also of great help, very courteous and professional for the extra booking I had to do. The Front Office Staff at The Leela Mumbai was definitely best lot that I have seen in a long time as compared to some other 5 star hotels

A Perfect Stay – Beyond Expectations at Taj The Trees Our 5-night stay at Taj The Trees in Mumbai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness and care that truly set the tone for our entire experience. The hospitality was flawless—every single member of the team, from the doormen to the restaurant staff and the executive lounge team, went out of their way to make us feel at home. The level of service, attention to detail, and warm professionalism is something we’ll always remember. We want to give a special thank you to Mrunali, the concierge who made our stay unforgettable. She helped us organize incredible tours, suggested great local bars and restaurants, and was a constant source of support—especially when my wife felt unwell. Mrunali not only assisted with getting medication but also checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. Her kindness and care truly made a difference. Our room was pure 5-star luxury—extremely comfortable bed, stunning view of the mangroves, and a beautiful bathroom that made it feel like a peaceful retreat after busy days exploring the city. Plus, gym and Wellness Spa were unreal. Taj The Trees is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re so grateful for the warmth and generosity we received, and we can’t wait to return.

JadhavGadh, Fort-turned-resort and museum, situated just 45 minutes drive from south of Pune - is a unique, must visit place. Located in the hills of Saswad, off Dive Ghat, near Mastani Lake, it is a 300+ year old fort which has been lovingly and meticulously restored, and made amenable to those who explore as well as who love their comfort. Accommodation: consists of tents, wooden rooms and fort rooms. Tents are well designed, but the most basic stay. Wooden rooms are well-made, with inbuilt air-conditioning and washrooms - but situated near Segway activity area as well as organic farms, hence in a bit noisy. Both of these are a bit far from the fort, needing a trek to enjoy the dining and other facilities in the fort. The rooms in the fort - Kholis, Monsoon rooms, Suites - Maharaja, Maharani and Museum - are tastefully decorated, with good design inside, always freshly painted and have excellent and comfortable furnishing. Even the bath areas are huge, with good provisioning of hot water. Restaurants: The buffet restaurant "Payatha" and a la carte restaurant "Chajja" are both great with their own USPs. - Payatha serves excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also host lavani and other performance arts on Fridays to Sundays in the evening. The freshly on-the-spot cooked food, tea and filter coffee of Payatha are excellent. - Chajja's USP lies in the unique combination of food and drinks, both traditional Maharashtrian as well as continental. They have an excellent collection of wines and cocktails. It has a relaxed preparation and serving time, so recommend eating at a leisurely pace. If possible, do try the balcony seating overlooking the valley - it's an unique experience. All of these unique experiences, and especially the amazing service, make this Fort a place worth visiting!

Its a place with bad roads, people have very poor traffic sense and civility. The Sula vineyard was overrun with people, the jyotirling temple had a 3 hour queue at 6:30am. Food options were limited. Overall preferred places like Aurangabad and Kolhapur which we also covered in this trip

Mahabaleshwar is ideal to visit in the rains if you like the rains and fog all the time. It rains continuously and is very cold. But I loved to visit during the rains as I enjoy the rains in the mountains, its a different experience. Aurangabad now Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar is famous for Kailash Temple , Ellora and Ajanta caves. Stunning sculpture of these three is unimaginable. One whole mountain carved into A temple which was partly destroyed by Aurangzeb a mughal king ,because his religion directs to do so. The next temple is Bhima Shanker one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the most attractive thing is the natural beauty around this temple . This is a reserved forest area and purest wet fog is seen almost through out the year. You find yourselves in the mid of clouds feeling mysticaly. You can stay there in the forests with due permission of Forest department. Plan for atleast 3 days .

If you are flying in and out of Nagpur to visit Tadoba, then a day's stay is enough for you too see the places and eat the local food. It is not a big city and excepting a few spots, there is nothing you can do for more than a day. We spent two days in Tadoba and 1 day in Nagpur and was enough.

Title: Absolutely Horrendous Stay – Never Again!

Title: Absolutely Horrendous Stay – Never Again! I have stayed in budget hotels before, but this was by far the worst experience of my life. The property is in a pathetic state and should not even be listed as a hotel. Water Leakage: The ceiling in the room was literally dripping water throughout my stay. I had to keep shifting my luggage and belongings to prevent them from getting soaked. Broken Bathroom Fixtures: The taps in the bathroom were broken and unusable. Water kept trickling even when turned off, flooding the floor within minutes. Rain Disaster: During rainfall, water started gushing in through the window like a mini waterfall. Instead of shelter, the room turned into a wet cave. Sleeping here was a nightmare. The staff were indifferent and acted as though all these issues were "normal." Clearly, the management doesn’t care about maintenance, cleanliness, or guest comfort. If you value your health, safety, and sanity, avoid this place at all costs. Calling this a hotel is an insult to hospitality.
