The warmth and hospitality of the local people were truly exceptional. I was particularly struck when a local student explained that even though their native language is Nepali, they make a conscious effort to speak Hindi to ensure outsiders feel at ease. Namchi is the heart of South Sikkim.
Namchi is the heart of South Sikkim. The Char Dham, Samdruptse, Temi Tea Garden, and Buddha Park, Ravangla are an absolute delight. I would also recommend hiking in Tedong Hilltop if you really like adventure and nature. Usually, people book packages that make them stay in Pelling. However, I would recommend staying in Namchi as it is a bigger city than Pelling. You would find more options for food, restaurants, hotels, and homestays here.Guest review bySurajIreland - 8.0

Everything is in just proportion at Ravangla. If you need to hang around there, stay at the town. If you need serenity and calm all around Stay at Mt. Wonderful place in Sikkim, far far better than Pelling or Gangtok. Phadamchen 9 lower zuluk 0 where this hotel ( bikers den 0 we booked is far far better than Zuluk ( as its very crowded and dirty place with shabby small home stays ) .
