The staff and even the owner were the epitome of hospitality and I cannot stop singing their praises.
The entire hotel was very well maintained and clean.
The food provided at the hotel was fantastic and gives a taste of the actual cultural food rather than touristy dishes.
The staff very graciously assisted us by helping to arrange cars for any short trip to another part of the state, even providing helpful suggestions on where to go and what to experience.
If you are planning a trip to Sikkim I highly suggest this place, trust me when I say you will not be left wanting.

This was a last minute booking since the trip was hastily planned. We visited Gangtok during the Christmas week. Booked this hotel through Booking.com. I'll note the Pros and cons for easy understanding.
Pros:
1. Mr. Amrit, the manager, is a lovely person, going out of his way to manage the stays. He even helped procure some medicine for my kid pretty late at night. So thank you very much again.
2. I reached Gangtok a day before my scheduled arrival, but they were accommodating enough and gave us a much larger room at the same price!
3. The hotel is bang on the main road, so no problem in accessing cabs/buses from here. Also it's just a few mins walk from M.G. Marg & Laal Market, which is the main tourist spot in Gangtok.
4. The rooms are spacious and well maintained.
5. The top floor rooms have a great view of the valley OR the main road (mine was a road facing one with a side view of the mountain).
6. The food, though VEG ONLY, was delicious and room service was prompt.
7. The rooftop restaurant has a great view of the valley.
Overall, I was very satisfied by the services and would look forward to stay again, provided they improve on their breakfast menu and the smell issue.

People working here are exeptionlly tourist friendly .Mr Panchom's dedication to his work and to employer has been phenomenal . Beyond our accommodation, he also has made our total trip plan for back and forth journey from Gangtok to Lachung and down to Darjeeling and Shiliguiri. This was so bespoke which I could ever expect from any top quality tour operator . I would cherish the humble attitude of a young man named Mr Bhishon who served us breakfast.

The warmth and hospitality of the local people were truly exceptional. I was particularly struck when a local student explained that even though their native language is Nepali, they make a conscious effort to speak Hindi to ensure outsiders feel at ease. This level of consideration for visitors is something I found unique and deeply appreciated.

Disappointing.
Disappointing. There's not really a town or village, just a collection of hotel properties all mountain-facing. A few tourist attractions including a Skywalk and cable car... but very little to the place overall.

Lachung is a raw place to explore.
Lachung is a raw place to explore. It is not for those who expect luxury. It is a place where you experience nature at its best. With Yumthang Valley and Zero Point being key attractions, it is for those who can go an extra mile beyond their comfort zones to experience nature at its best.

Namchi is the heart of South Sikkim.
Namchi is the heart of South Sikkim. The Char Dham, Samdruptse, Temi Tea Garden, and Buddha Park, Ravangla are an absolute delight. I would also recommend hiking in Tedong Hilltop if you really like adventure and nature.
Usually, people book packages that make them stay in Pelling. However, I would recommend staying in Namchi as it is a bigger city than Pelling. You would find more options for food, restaurants, hotels, and homestays here.

Everything is in just proportion at Ravangla.
Everything is in just proportion at Ravangla. If you need to hang around there, stay at the town. If you need serenity and calm all around Stay at Mt. Narsing Village Resort and similar village properties around. And there is the mighty mountains to greet you from every angle if you are lucky.

Wonderful place in Sikkim, far far better than Pelling or Gangtok. Phadamchen 9 lower zuluk 0 where this hotel ( bikers den 0 we booked is far far better than Zuluk ( as its very crowded and dirty place with shabby small home stays ) . Thambi view point , Kupup lake and Old Baba mandir later Nathula is a must visit.

It is a quaint town .
It is a quaint town . There aren’t many places to visit and all sight seeing can be done in a day . For people who can walk .. there is a 5 km stretch that can take you to the base from where trekking starts. For strict vegetarians home stays are the best option.

Gangtok is a good place, everyone follows traffic rules, city is clean, people are helping nature, MGmarg has good shops to do shopping, lot's of Monasteries and other attraction are at close distance from hear, over all good place. there is not much to see in Gangtok it self but a lot with in the proximity of it.

Pelling is a must visit place for visit to Sikkim, but one need to find out a proper hotel. There are not many. Thre are a number of tourist spots nearby. The skywalk is a unique experience. While booking the toir operator/ taxi, one must ensure all points of interest are covered. One can get a good view of Kanchenjanga mountain.
