City has different vibe than its peer cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. I liked the old Chola style temples. Plus the airport is within City are unlike some other metros where airport is 30-40 km outside the city. And it's connected by metro line. Although due to major metro work under progress is making cabs taking lot of time to arrive for pickup and to cover short distance like 5-6 km in 30-40 mins.Guest review byManojIndia - 10.0

Alright, so I've been thinking about my trip to 🌴Coimbatore recently, and I just have to share my thoughts! First off, the weather was just perfect, not too hot, not too cold – just right for exploring the city. I spent a lot of time just wandering around and soaking in the local vibe; it was so relaxed. The food scene was incredible 😋, with delicious South Indian dishes everywhere I turned. I also made sure to visit some of the temples and historical sites; each one told a fascinating story. The people I met were super friendly and welcoming 🤗, always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Shopping at the local markets was a blast, picking up some unique souvenirs. Overall, Coimbatore is a fantastic place to visit, offering a great mix of culture, food, and relaxation! I can't wait to go back and explore even more of the area.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Coaker's walk has awesome view, rose garden is very beautifully maintained. Vatakanal falls are a beautiful sight to our eyes. Kodaikanal is very peaceful and beautiful place to visit. We visited several times before five years. Now moderate chances are feeled. But it is Nice. It was a very short visit nothing more to say. Only night we went Sabarees restarent and it was great. We did not visit Mahabalipuram as we were traveling with elderly folks and just wanted a weekend break. But since we live in Chennai, we have been to Mahabalipuram dozens of times! It is always an incredible place to visit and the ancient ruins from the Pallava dynastic times are breathtaking in their beauty and relevance to our local culture. The Ramanna Ashram and especially the Skandashram which is. delightful short trek up the hill are by themselves well worth the visit to the small town. Choose a day that is not very auspicious and you will have a quiet and reflective time at the ashram. Aim to spend more than a day.. The Arunachalam temple is truly awe inspiring (as all grand Chola temples are) but alas made less rich by a clunky and indifferent management, dirty surroundings, throngs of pilgrims, rude staff and clumsy barricades.. The temple is worth more as an architectural gem than a devotional destination, in line with other Chola/Pallava gems in Tamil Nadu. There are a many places to stay it seems but no 5 starrers.
