The food joints are simply amazing. This is a mixture of old traditional city with modern facilities. During our recent visit, we had the blessed opportunity to perform the Parikrama and visit Tatia Sthan, a spiritually unique and serene place. What makes this location truly remarkable is its complete abstinence from electricity and artificial elements—it is illuminated solely by natural diyas, creating an atmosphere of deep peace and devotion. We also visited the ISKCON Temple, where we were fortunate to experience the soulful chanting of the Maha Mantra during the evening aarti. Roads in Ayodhya are good from the airport to Temple.
Roads in Ayodhya are good from the airport to Temple. After that road work is not completed. So not convenient to travel by tuk tuk for old people. Uber/ Ola service do not work as expected. My ride to airport was 216 Rs while drivers said they would not come below 500 Rs. So I had to pay it. Tuk tuk costed 100 rs even for a 300 meter ride (for old parents). The place is good one time watch. But be careful with old people. My favourite places were Ram Janma Bhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi and Guptar ghat. We ate via zomato mostly pizza.
